The size is excellent, and it has many little compartments to stay organized. It's a great carry-on or even for an overnight or long weekend getaway.

The wheels roll very smoothly compared to other brands. Lots of space inside and ways to get personal care items separate from clothes. The hard shell is nice to keep things inside protected as well. I loved Thule. I have total 7 Thule bags. Last, I purchased Subterra 2. Last March, I bought Aion 40L. Few months later, I discovered ripped.

For my Japan trip, I bought this Thule SUBTERRA 2 CARRY ON SPINNER VETIVER GRAY and Thule SUBTERRA 2 CONVERTIBLE CARRY ON VETIVER GRY from the Vancouver store. I went on 3-week trip to Japan. The luggage design is great and well-thought-out inside, but Thule decided to put in the worst luggage wheel in this carry-on, the wheel is super noisy even on smooth surfaces I have a recording of the top piece " Thule SUBTERRA 2 CONVERTIBLE CARRY ON VETIVER GRAY" when I put on top of the carry on will tip the whole carry on over due to poor weight distribution. It does not happen when I put it on another brand carry-on. Thule should change the wheel to hinomoto miraclent or silent run wheel then this carry can be a 5 star rating for now it stays as 1 star.

The Subterranean 2 carryon is a perfect bag for running through airports. The wheels are amazingly smooth, the handle adjust effortlessly on the fly and the zippers still closed on an overstuffed bag. The back is solid on the back and the front is like a semi hard shell, giving just enough flex to overstuff but solid in structure. The inside has a nice mesh zipper area and great tie downs on the open side. Comes with a divider bag which is vey useful. Totally worth the money!

If you’re looking for a versatile, well-built backpack that can handle daily work use and travel without compromise, the Subterra 2 is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love Thule products, I love the brand, but this product disappointed me a bit so I returned it. The main reason was the zipper - the product is really well made (as usual), but I believe there is a design flaw. The weight of the material on the zipper caused the zipper to skip and catch when opening and closing.
