Sadly the baggage has not
Sadly the baggage has not lived up to expectations - the lower lock strap pulled out today and will no doubt be torn off during baggage handling for our flight tonight.
It's quite simply the best luggage you'll ever own
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bag for my daughter and told her it's the last bag she will ever need. My wife and I both have Eagle Creek bags that we used while walking the six week Camino de Santiago across Spain. Everyday for five weeks our luggage was moved by van courier to our next lodging. We saw other brand luggage fall apart after a couple of weeks. We spent an additional month traveling by EURAIL to over a dozen cities. We pulled these bags on cobblestone alleys and urban concrete streets to and from train stations. The wheels and zippers are bulletproof. And the lifetime guarantee shows the really stand by their luggage. Quite simply the best luggage I've ever had.
Pretty good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it so far, used it twice. The main zippers are a bit hard to use as others have said. I only hope this means they will last longer… not sure if that is sound logic though. I do love the bag, I picked this size because I already have a bigger suitcase. I like the layout and the organization. This is the first bag I’ve owned with an expansive zipper. I kinda thought it would be a bit bigger on the expansion after seeing the size but it’s not that much bigger with the expansion open. I’d say you could fit a few more flat items or a heavy jacket. So that’s cool.
Solid build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this bag on a 3 week trip to Europe and Africa. Easy to pack, holds a lot, sturdy build. My only complaint is that the interior straps are very short in one side so they invariably slide down under the clothes and you have to dig them out. Plus, it’s hard to buckle the strap when it is way off to one side. The zippers are very solid and sturdy, which makes them a little bit difficult to open and close. They are getting smoother with use, but might be hard for elderly hands. Overall, I am impressed with the bag
Excellent bag, needs longer inner tie down straps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Give this 4.8 stars! A replacement for our old 27" 2-wheeled bag, which serviced us well. We like the rectangular shape, the 2 wheels, the many handles. But 2 things are a miss. First, the outside pocket is too small. We used to put a foldable backpack or umbrella there for quick access after landing. Second, the inside tie down straps are too short. When you put in the packing cubes, the one strap is buried. Hope you can fix this in the future. Looking forward to using this bag for another 10 years. Love the 2 wheels.
Great Replacement!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought (2) Gear Warrior 27" as replacements for our (2) 15 year old 2 wheel Eagle Creek 27" suitcases which we love! Like the new look but they seem lighter and I like the top zipper. It will be easier to stuff and close. The material seems tougher but never had problems with the older ones. Can never go wrong with Eagle Creek. We travel all over the world and pull it behind us for miles on cobble stone roads. Too old for the back pack style. Four wheels can't handle our form of travel.
Tried and true
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my ancient Eagle Creek needed to be replaced, my husband got me a very nice hard rollie. He was sure I would love it, but it just didn’t seem to hold as much as my old Eagle creek. And if it was not very full, it remained the same size. I bought myself a set of Eagle Creeks, and I am happy again.
Hi Pamela, That is great to hear that our gear has been tried and true for you over time. Thank you for shopping Eagle Creek, and don't hesitate to reach out with any comments/questions!
LUV IT!!! Just returned from
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LUV IT!!! Just returned from a three week tour and the warrior lived up to the hype. Plenty of room for stage clothes and travel gear combined with my eagle creek garment bag which slips over the handle it was perfect. Very stable when standing upright. Highly recommended! functionality !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The zippers are so hard to do up. I have had your luggage from about 12 years ago and they were so easy to do up. These are so hard I can hardly do it. I’m exhausted when I finally get them clothes. Is there a secret to getting them to slide easier?
Hi Tangley, Thank you for your feedback -- our Gear Warrior has a YKK zipper with a waterproof tape that is quite heavy duty. This should break in over time with more use.
Wishing you hadn’t messed with the previous design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement bag for my trusty 27” purchased in 2017. I am impressed with the wheels and the handle, but wishing the inside and outside pockets had stayed the same as the previous design. I a huge fan…so I’ll adjust:blush:
Hey there, Sandra! We're glad to hear you're a huge fan of Eagle Creek. We'll make sure to keep your feedback in mind for future designs. Thank you for your support!
