LOVE

Reviewing for sizing purposes / comparison. I purchased a size Small. For reference I am 5’3 and 128-130 lbs and a 34D. I probably could have purchased a medium but I’m too lazy to return so I’m keeping the small. Fits good I just can’t keep it tight around the bust.

It'll take some getting used to

I've had the same ultimate direction pack for 10+ years, but the tightening tabs in the bottom back were digging into my back during my long runs. It had a simple design though, two tabs in the front, much easier than these draw string clips. The flasks that came with this aren't great at all, the rubber tips pop off at the slightest pull and a lot of fluid gushes out.... Not fun. I like the amount of pockets, haven't tried it with a bladder yet, not sure how I'll like the tube because it looks like it comes right out from the top and will rub against my neck, and my long ponytail will probably get tangled up around it. Overall, I do like it.

BEST RUNNING KIT ON THE MARKET!!!!

I have purchased many kits, and I can say without a doubt that SOLOMON nailed it with this kit!! I am a distance runner training for my first 50K and this kit stays in place even with a C cup bra size. The others on the market move around and cause you to chaff. This kit is Genius with the draw string so you can snug it up how much you need/prefer. Don’t think twice, JUST BUY IT. IT WILL CHANGE YOU RUN!

Super practical

This is my first Salomon pack. I used it for my 50 mile race a week ago. It was light and fit well without bouncing, more like it wrapped me in it. No chafing at all. It had so much storage space. Especially the back compartment was expandable and I could store my rain jacket and other items comfortably. I am glad that I chose this Active Skin 12 for my long runs/races.

A great investment for my long runs!

This is my first vest. For the last 30 years I’ve run on and off. A bunch of marathons etc. i ALWAYS wore a waist belt and thought that was the best for me. As I’ve aged I’ve gained weight around my belly. I have noticed that when I wear my belt and am going on a hard run my belt pushes on my belly and I’ve felt it pressing on my diaphragm and causing me to feel like I needed to take it off. THIS vest has been a complete game changer for me. No more planning how to get water on my long runs AND no pressure on my belly. The flasks are easy to drink from as well as the bladder hose. There are two zipped compartments and one holds my phone (with the thick case and a pop socket on it.) The bladder was a separate purchase but it fits so well! I am very happy with this purchase.

Why didn't I get this sooner!

I bought this vest as my daughter purchased a similar one and was raving about it. I am so glad i got it, it holds everything I need on my mid length runs, and if I need more hydration, i can put my bladder in it from another running pack. I love the fit, I'm 5'2", 34 chest and the small fits perfect. I love the color as well, I got the Moonscape. Very happy and highly recommend

They really thought of the runner!

I am very happy with my active skin. I am a naturally large chested female ultra runner with a small torso. This vest and the placement of the flexible front water flasks is as if i had nothing on at all. I love all the pockets and space available for the necessary nutrition. I haven't used in extreme heat, but with body heat I haven't noticed any issues with sweat seeping through the bag or even the water overheating. I like to run errands on long run days and found the back can actually hold more than I thought. I really love how it does not feel like I am wearing anything. If I had any complaints it would be the video on how to open the back reservoir was not too helpful. I actually would have done it wrong had I not watched other people's you tube. IYKYK! I cannot stress enough how much the woman's active vest is perfect for a woman's chest. Last note, I did follow the size charting which worked for me.

Teeny Tiny Armholes

I've always worn the unisex pack in a size small but the size small in the Sense Pro 10 was a medium in this pack. When I first tried it on, I immediately thought I went too large because I'm borderline between sizes. Then it hit me. The hot spot. The spot that you just know that if you are bothered by it by just trying something on, that it is the spot that will create chaffing havoc after a few miles. The arm holes are cut MUCH higher than the Sense pro and the elastic is thick and stretchy, but a tight stretch. Where the seams merge is one spot under the arm where there is this tight, thick spot that is just shoved up into my armpit. I never even knew one could have armpits that are too big for a hydration vest, but here we are. I'm a women's 6/8 and my chest was 36 inches (I'm a 32 D bra size). I loved that the water bottles were finally moved up, but sadly the armpits also went up as well. Loved the color and the pockets, but just wouldn't be able to run with this pack at all.

Runs extremely small

Very cute vest but the Women's XS looks like a children's vest suitable for an eight year old. Even for a petite female like myself (5'1" and 111 lbs), this XS is ridiculously small. Other than that, it is very cute vest and I love the colors. My age is 69 and live in Berkeley.
