I was looking to try a different style of shoe and liked that these were described as moderate, but clearly had a more aggressive toe. I do not think I would describe them as moderate in actuality, and the rubber is very stiff so they’ve been pretty difficult to break in. I prefer moderate shoes because aggressive shoes tend to really make my toes hurt. These shoes do allow for great feel of holds, and I felt like they gave me high precision on jibs, but they’ve been impossible to use for smearing. I decided to give 3 stars because they are definitely a well-made shoe and are great for a more aggressive climbing shoe, but considering I thought I was purchasing a more moderate shoe I do not think they are advertised correctly.
