hard getting the roll right
I really liked the idea of a dry bag that opens up wider and is easier to find things in. I bought this for my 6-day Desolation Canyon trip, because my guests had borrowed all my other dry bags. This bag is very high quality, and has excellent workmanship. My one misgiving about it is that I needed a helper to get the top rolled down without wrinkles. New dry bags are always a little harder to roll up the first few times, but with this one, I found it very difficult to do without four hands. That’s basically due to the opening being longer than a typical dry bag this size, and also due to the bag being brand new and extra slippery in the closure area. My plan is to store the bag full of stuff and nicely rolled down. I think leaving it that way over the winter will help develop some creases in the part that rolls up and that will make it easier to use.
Well Built and Extremely Waterproof
This bag kept my stuff dry while on my roof rack in heavy rain and snow. I've had it for 2 years and it shows pretty minimal signs of wear.
