High quality, durable wagon
The Gregory Alpaca Gear Wagon stands out in a crowded market for its durability and high quality. The wagon has very little plastic, making it feel like the quality tools of a bygone era - very much built to last. I would recommend this wagon to anyone who is looking for a quality wagon that can endure heavy regular use with ease. Pros - metal frame feels very sturdy (including joints), mesh bottom is self-cleaning (dirt and sand fall through), rain cover has good coverage and is easy to use and pack away, wheels are large and strong, handle is comfortable for heavy loads, weight rating seems honest (I do question other wagon brands after comparing side-by-side), storage bag has very small footprint. Cons - no wheel lock, no way to roll using the wheels when in collapsed/packed position, handle lock feature is weak that keeps the handle in its storage position, heavy, difficult to carry in it’s case more than a few strides. In reality, I think the storage case is the only con really worth much consideration. It is quite difficult to get the wagon in and out of its case. Mostly this is due to the area near the zipper - it is unintuitive how to position of the wheels so they’ll fit and how to close the case without flipping the whole wagon over. The carrying straps on the case are also extremely small for the wagon’s weight. I wish there was an alternative like a way to use the wagon’s wheels while in the case or at least have some shoulder straps. But, I will say that you don’t have to use the case as the wagon can lock in a collapsed position without it, and for all its troubles the case is both quite attractive in shape and leaves the smallest footprint possible. I would not let the case’s shortcomings stop me from choosing this wagon; its strengths definitely outweigh this relatively minor inconvenience.

Sturdy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wagon is super sturdy and great for taking on rough terrain. It comes with a cover so you don’t get your car dirty after taking it in the dirt/mud. It also has a rain cover for the top of the wagon so your stuff doesn’t get wet. It is easy to open and close it to store it. Such a great design and built really well! Perfect for the beach, hikes, ect!

A durable wagon that packs out and down well
Firstly, this gear wagon comes with a convenient storage bag. The T-shaped design of the bag makes for easy packing and unpacking because there is only one way the wagon can fit inside. As for the wagon itself, it performs admirably, swiftly setting up, efficiently transporting stuff, and providing a sturdy feel throughout. The rain fly also worked well when we got caught out in a sudden spring shower. The frame feels sturdy although I have not pushed it close to its 250 lbs spec.
Perfect for pick nicks and beach days
Since receiving the Alpaca Wagon I had the opportunity to test it out on a couple family trips, here’s my thoughts: First and foremost the pack ability is amazing, at first it looked like it would be difficult to put back in the case but I was wrong, it slid back in with ease and stowed away in my trunk perfectly. The big tires made it easy to pull across all surfaces I crossed from gravel, grass, and dirt to pavement. I did have some concerns on tire durability since they are a hard plastic, however so far it hasn’t been an issue. The floor plate is removable making it easy to wipe away dirt or sand and let it fall through the mesh bottom. Also a thumbs up to the extension handle and the system used to collapse it. I haven’t gotten a chance to truly use the rain cover but I love the fact it comes with one. If you’re in the market for a wagon this is a great option!
Super strong!
I perform load testing as a day job so I put this wag to the test. It hauled with ease 300 pounds of dry beans, rice, flour and corn mean. The foldable bottom that covers the mesh bottom was key as well as the large bags. I was going to put 5 gallon buckets in the wagon, but the cross bars were not spaced well for good placement so went with the bags instead. It was heavy, but pulled and turned with ease. I used the wagon for a band gig in the park. After the big load, this was nothing for the wagon. I like that it folds easily. Remove the folding bottom, pull up on the center Velcro and the whole thing will collapse. I put the folded bottom on the side just before I zipper it closed. The release latch on the handle to collapse has help well. Because the handle will snap into the front of the wagon you can’t ride it like the old red radio flyer wagons. Strictly a pulling wagon. However, if you are in need of an impromptu side table the folded up wagon with the folded bottom on the tops of the 4 corner posts works well. It might roll away, but in the grass it worked well. The storage tote is nice, keeps everything together nicely. I didn’t need the rain cover so never used it, but it’s in one of the corner pockets just in case. PNW is known to have unpredictable rains. I found the easiest way to pack it up was put the top on while the wheels are on the ground once fully pulled down flip it over and pull the cover over the wheels, slide the folded bottom down the inside and zip it up. It fits nicely in the trunk of my Corolla. Not too bad! If I were to try and fit it in there unfolded it would never fit!
Awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influencer in exchange for my honest review. Set up and take down was a breeze. Super easy to get back into its storage bag. I haven’t had a chance to actually put it to the test outside but it looks durable and high quality. Would be great to take to a parade, camp out or kids sports events.

Love this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wagon is so easy to setup and take down. I love the big wheels as it goes over all types of terrain and pulls so smoothly. This will be great for so many uses from taking the grandkids around to hauling feed to my chickens. Love this!!

Very loud, don’t like using.
I usually trust Gregory products for their quality, which is why I bought this wagon. It does fold up nicely and functions as expected, but unfortunately, the wheels rattle so loudly that I’m embarrassed to even use it. I tried pulling a couple of kids around the zoo, and people could hear me coming from a mile away. I ended up just taking it back to the car. Now it mostly sits unused because of how noisy it is. I’ve seen friends buy wagons from Costco for way less money, and theirs are much quieter. I really wish I had gone that route instead.
Built like a tank!
This is great. It was sent as a part of an REI promotion, and I didn’t realize how much use I’d get out of it. It holds a ton of stuff, and doesn’t scoff at hauling serious weight. I used it to cart around 100 pounds of gravel over a rough surface and it held it no problem. It packs up nicely, but is heavy if you’re planning on hauling it around.
