Very good boot, not so good laces
LOWA makes very good hiking boots for my feet. I need ankle support and a big toe box as I tend to hit my toes against the boot coming down a hill. These are good boots. Grippy and the fabric along the top makes them softer on top but still supported by the sole and sides. I find them slightly wide and went with a thicker sock and that worked. My big gripe is the shoe laces. They are thin and do not hold in place. I have to stop and tighten them and when I have time I will take them in and get new or better laces.

Quite disappointed
No, I do not recommend this product
I am a lifelong Lowa customer and this boots really surprised me in a bad way. They've changed the sizing, women's 8 feels like 9 and most importantly the toe box design. I like the traditional clean narrow toe box and this one so big in the front that my feet are swimming in it. The roundness oddly comes out the main body and makes it look like a clown's shoes. What happened Lowa? Improving is not ruining... I have Lowa Renegade and is still going strong after so many years but I needed something shorter at the ankle. But this one a huge disappointment and sadly returned!
