I'll start with the caveat that I returned these shoes as I liked my other option more. That being said, I've been a Lowa buyer for about 15 years and LOVE their shoes. My snow boots, hiking boots, several casual shoes, and last hiking shoes were Lowa's and I'll still be a loyal customer. However, when I started looking for new hiking shoes this year, I wanted something with a more aggressive look, tread, and build. I was comparing these Innox models to the Merrell Moab 3 Waterproof. The Merrells are simply a more aggressive shoe that will work better for my purposes of hiking, scout camping, and walking to work in rain and slush. The Inbox Evo II are more of a casual shoe: more aggressive than a sneaker but lacking that trail style of a full blown hiking shoe. I would love to keep these as another "around town" option, but my shoe rack is already a bit full and I couldn't justify the high cost just for vanity. The foot bed has a low arch, which concerned me a bit when compared to past Lowa's. They are lightweight and feel like a comfortable shoe for traveling, but I already have those. Sending them back but might regret it eventually!
These are great shoes and are a wonderful compliment to my Lowa Renegades. The Innox Evo II is light, has a nice balance of stability and cushion, and are a pleasure to wear both on and off the trail. I often wear them to work, where I have to walk a lot on pavement, and they are comfortable all day. They get my highest recommendation for a lightweight hiking shoe.
