Great ouch boots.
No, I do not recommend this product
I bought these boots a year ago and have used them on a dozen hikes. I love the styling and fit. However, the inner stitching is right against the heel and it creates hotspots/blisters. I have owned many many pairs of boots in my life and am well aware of the need (sometimes) to break in a boot. I don't believe this is a case of breaking in a boot and more likely an issue with the raised stitching. Unfortunately I just can't use these boots anymore even though they only have about 100 miles on them.

Great boots except for the lace hooks
No, I do not recommend this product
I love these boots, except for one thing....the lace hooks are plastic. They seem plenty strong enough, but where they attach to the boot they are about 1/8" tall where the rivets go through them. When you are lacing up the lace catches on this part for a second and then hops over the hook. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries to get the lace into the hook. It is super annoying. I've owned a lot of boots in my life, all of which had the metal hooks. Never had any issues. These irritate me every morning. Please Lowa, put metal hooks on these. They are on the Renegade (which, unfortunately don't fit my foot), so the decision to put plastic on this model seems purely cosmetic.

Great Fitting Boots
Yes , I recommend this product
I love this boot but i am concerned about the plastic lugs for lace tying that they will break easier than metal ones. For $270 you can provide metal lugs. Other than that they are comfortable, fit well, and loow great.
