Zipper seems misaligned
Tried to use this bag for the first time and in one spot the zipper seems like it wasn’t sewn properly. One three inch section just wouldn’t close easily and when it finally did the zipper is pulling badly. Not sure if it will withstand the trip.
Travel Buddy
I will never travel without my Allpa Roller Bag. It is so sturdy and easy to handle. Material is so easy to maintain. Wipe down with a damp cloth and store. Love it! Simply love it!
Carry On Roller Green
The reason i bought this is i had a flight recently that when they were unloading the bags from the plane, lightning struck, so they had to get into the building for safety, however our bags were getting soaked in the rain and all my clothing was soaked through, so water resistance was on my list of criteria and this was honestly the only non hard shell bag that fit the bill. Happy this is available as an option. Love the colorway, especially the light colored interior, will be very handy when using it and looking for that last sock! Zippers seem heavy duty and the wheels look sturdy. Very much looking forward to using this.
From Chaos to Chic: My Dream Work Bag
I purchased this bag along with the matching tote that slides over the handle, and together they’ve completely transformed the way I work. As a visual merchandiser constantly on the go, I need to haul everything from tools to tiny accessories between stores—and this setup handles it all with style and ease. It’s lightweight enough to lift in and out of my car without a struggle, and the interior stays beautifully organized thanks to the travel kits I use as mini compartments. Best of all, I roll into each location looking polished and professional—no more juggling mismatched bags or digging for supplies. The quality is top-notch, and I can tell it’s built to last. Truly the perfect mobile workstation for anyone in a creative or on-the-go profession!
Great Update for My Victorinox Backpack Suitcase
My 2000’s-era Victorinox wheeled suitcase with backpack straps finally bit the dust after some rough handling by my kids. No worries, I get to treat myself to a new suitcase from Cotopaxi! I love the colors and thoughtful design. I will definitely use the upper outside compartment for easy access to small items, electronics, and toiletries. I am glad to move away from the dedicated shoe compartment of my old bag. I am using a set of Mountainsmith backpack straps, attached with carabiners, on the rare occasion that I need my suitcase to be a backpack. Only downside? I sort of wish it had the slim side-entry laptop compartment of the dedicated backpack Cotopaxi’s.
Perfect companion for weeklong trip to Turkey!
Took this, along with a backpack, as my only luggage for a trip to Turkey for a week that was bookended with a night in London on either side. It's carryon size but I ended up checking it both ways. This is surprisingly durable. There's not a ton of cushion/insulation, which I suppose makes it easier to pack more stuff, and it still held up well even with glass souvenirs in it on the way back. It's obviously distinct and easy to spot on the baggage claim, rolls well on various surfaces (including some cobblestone). No real internal organization, but given its size I don't feel like that was a loss. Love this bad boy.
World traveling made sexy!
Let me start with saying I work for an airline and stack the bags… Cotopaxi is our FAVORITE bags! Durable, easy to locate, wonderful to stack- ALL the things! Add in that I have been to 18 different locations around the world this last 11 months, all with my Cotopaxi travel gear! From camping in ND, cruising to the DR and hiking in Iceland! The Allpa 38L Roller bag is my newest piece. Already two trips in… one on a road trip and the other for a quick trip to Orlando! LOVE IT! As always, it exceeds expectation. Fits in the overhead, packs efficiently, lightweight and follows me along gracefully. I am obsessed!
It's an odd bag to pack
It's takes a while to figure out how to pack this bag. Even tho it's a soft cover, it's not a flexible as I would like. Although you can fit a lot of stuff, when you go to close the top right side won't zip if it's too wide on the bottom. This really limits what you can put in. You can't have boxy or hard things on the sides. The 28L back pack has the same issue. It would benefit from a compression divider rather than just the mesh zippers. Also, I was concerned with ripping the mesh dividers which also added limitations to how I can pack. My Away backpack can fit loads more and offers more flexibility.
The Allpa Upgrade I Needed!
I love this pack! I have been a loyal Allpa backpack user since they first arrived on Kickstarter and have several sizes. This roller bag has all the features I love in my backpacks - the clamshell opening, zippered sections to keep my things secure, tough exterior, and more - with the added bonus of being able to wheel it through airports and beyond. I can’t wait to see how many adventures this new bag goes on!
Nice Features. Hold A LOT
This wheeled bag holds a lot. I got it because the backpack version held so much that it ended up being too heavy for a 70 year to lift! I much preferred the interior of the backpack version. The wheeled version is missing some of the interior dividers; it only has two compartments I really liked the accessibility of the top compartment because it’s very roomy and has a smaller compartment inside. I do miss the computer sleeve that the backpack version has. Another nice feature is that you can cinch down the bag to fit into smaller places. It’s also nice that it opens up flat. Great bag!
