The product is not as expected. They came late so I had no time to wear around the house before leaving for a pre-planned 4 hour hike. Could only do 2 hours. The shoes are so big although my Merrel, Saucony, Keens, Northface are all size 8, the Solomon is definitely not to size. I noticed that the original receipt on line says M6.5 - I thought there was an error, but when I clicked on my order receipt, it did/does show W 8. I think it is probably untrue, and in fact, these may be M 6.5, which would explain how large they are. See picture for comparison to my Merrels and my Sorrels.
I have been wearing this style of Solomons for nine years and I definitely feel like if it's not broke, don't fix it. These were my first trail runners in 2015 and I don't feel any need to find anything else. I do have long skinny feet and they are super comfortable. I wear them with Injinji socks and get zero blisters. I'm hoping they don't stop making them or change them too much! It seems like it's getting hard to find them in REI stores. I live in hot SoCal so I don't want waterproof or boot style.
I needed new hiking shoes for a backpacking trip we were going on and after trying numerous brands and styles, I finally found the winner! The X Ultra 360 fit the bill with being lightweight, durable and comfy. They even work with my gators (as seen in pic). I also like the laces and built in "garage" system for them. I feel they fit perfect but can be tightened or loosened to best suit your feet. Nice job, Salomon!
This shows are super comfortable, I mean extremely comfortable. And what else do we need? I recommend so much!
Highly recommended. Very comfortable. Wider at the front allowing toes to properly spread when stepping down, good cushion support and very stable even on loose grave/shale. I walk 10K to 20k every day with very few exceptions. First pair lasted 1.5 yrs. compared to the usual 10 mths when most of my other hikers wear out as noted by sore feet, ankles and sometimes hips after a week of 70,000 to 140,000 steps via walking or hiking. My first pair is now loosing support so I just quickly ordered another. I am thinking of ordering another third pair for back up in case Soloman stops making this model or changes the design.

I wear an 8 1/2 shoe, and a nine sneaker and these fit perfectly in the nine as usual. Love the color. My only complaint and it’s a minor one. Is it the tongue on my left shoe twist a little bit to the inside and I have to keep yanking it back the one on the right does less but still does it otherwise I’m perfectly happy.
A cute hiking shoe love it! Love the colorway I love looking cute on my long hikes and didn't think it was possible til I found this shoe. The only thing is the inner ankle hurts sometimes, might have to break them in a bit more. I did a 5 mile hike the other day so hopefully by my next one it'll be more broken in.
This is my 2nd purchase of Salomon shoes. I’m 80 yrs old & walk my dog 3 times daily. I have bunions on both feet. The material on the first shoes purchased wore through quite quickly. My new shoes have an extra barrier so will wear better I think. I have enclosed a picture to clarifying my statement.
Very nice and comfy would surely recommend. It turned out have size bigger than expected but it was me.
