KUHL  Stretch Voyagr Jacket - Women's

This jacket looked great on and was very comfortable and soft. However, it is not waterproof. After two minutes of running the sleeve under water, it was soaked through. I do not know how it performs as a windbreaker, since the main reason I bought it was for rain protection.

Absolutely love this jacket! I first saw this jacket in an outdoor clothing store in a different color. I loved the feel of the jacket. It didn’t make the usual waterproof “swishing” sound. The label said it was waterproof and I found it hard to believe. I decided to order it in a beautiful blue color but, after I purchased it. I read a couple of the reviews, said it was not waterproof and they were disappointed in it so I was concerned, but decided I was going to trust that it was waterproof as advertised because I have always loved the Kuhl products. I currently am in Alaska and it has been raining for three days straight and I have never once had any issues with my jacket not keeping me dry. I would highly recommend this jacket. It is also extremely flattering. You can tighten the jacket around the waist which makes the jacket more defined. My husband also purchased one and he has had the same experience!

Beautiful jacket! Great colors. Soft stretchy fabric. Nice features--adjustable cuffs, hood and waist; 2-way zipper. But I think a few things could be improved. To adjust the waist, you have to tie the cord. Should have a toggle. To adjust the sleeves, you have to open and close the velcro each time you put it on. Should have both a velcro and elastic adjustment like LL Bean jackets. The 2-way zipper is a great feature, but it's tricky to operate. I found it works best if I line it up, insert the end of the zipper and then bend up the bottom of the jacket before pulling it up instead of leaving everything hanging straight down. Nevertheless, I love it!

I ordered an XL, which is usually rather big on me, so I could wear something warm underneath. The material was cold on bare arms. The sleeves are too long; the hips and sleeves are very narrow. I will be returning it.

Cute, comfortable. NOT water resistent at all. Do NOT buy this to be dry. Do NOT buy this to protect your head from rain or wind. There's no way to cinch the hood down. Pulling the elastic loops on the sides of the hood will cinch it temporarily, but since there's no clips, no toggles, and no ties, if you want your hood to stay on, you literally have to hold it on with your hand.

So far so good. I have the One Shell but thought this one might be better for my wife since it says it can cinch a little at the waste. She loves the way it fits and we’ll see how waterproof it is. We live in Seattle so it’ll get a proper test. The One Shell works fantastic but it looks like this one is slightly different regarding the waterproof material so we’ll see. The first half dozen dog walks in the rain and she was dry and water was beading up on the jacket so I guess so far so good : )

Item does not come as pictured. I purchased the green coat. It comes with a black zipper with black border on front of jacket, not green as pictured. Will be returning tomorrow

I researched this exact jacket on line and it checked all my boxes. water resistant, packable, lightweight, the right color (raisin)…and my local REI had it in my size. I checked it out in person to try it on and feel the fabric, which was a good quality and soft feeling. I bought it for travel but I think it will be great for wearing for walks outdoors in moderate temps….of course it can be layered up for cold. I'm happy with my purchase!

This is a perfect layer for my upcoming journey to South Africa for safari. It is light weight which is great as we are weight limited for luggage. It fits beautifully, is of great quality, that i know will last for years of use. The style is classic and the color neutral. The latter is also important for safari as.black and white attract insects. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it.

I bought this raincoat for a trip to Scotland to protect me from the frequent rain and unpredictable weather. This coat made it easy to change from cool rainy weather to hot sunny weather (often all within the same half hour) and was light and easy to stow or carry when not wearing it. Was completely rain and wind proof, keeping me dry even in blustery rain.
