Great lightweight rain jacket!

I really love this jacket. It’s light and breathable. Very versatile for all weather. Light enough to add warm layers without too much bulk. I love the length and it looks nice for a rain jacket and not too sporty, although it can be sporty too! I saw some mention the zipper hit them in the chin. I am finding that it does zip up high, which in the wind and rain allows me to tuck behind the zipper and use it as an extra shield. If it’s lighter rain, I just don’t zip it all the way and it’s not a problem for me. Overall, love this jacket!

FYI: The blue is allot lighter than photo. I ended up returning the jacket. The top of the zipper is stiff and pokes under my chin no matter how I try to fold it back. Very disappointed because everything else was perfect…length, stretch, quality etc. Size medium was good, 5’5 135#.

Non-functional hood

I am so disappointed with this jacket after my first rain outing. The hood is for all intents and purposes non-functional. I live in a rainy climate so a good rain jacket is invaluable and I have literally searched for about a year for a new jacket with a proper hood to keep my head dry. In the store this jacket felt really good and the hood seemed to have enough stiffness and coverage but now that I have worn it out and about in the rain, the hood is rubbish. It does not offer any coverage what so ever and is difficult to get on and off once I've cinched it down in an effort to keep it on my head. As another reviewer noted, the top of the zipper pokes up under your chin--not comfortable. At best, this is a jacket to wear out on mild, dry days.

Looking good!

Love the color and the fit. My favorite part is the length as it keeps my butt dry. I struggle with tightening the hood. I end up wearing a ball cap underneath it to keep the hood from collapsing on my head and face. I have mostly worn this on board our boat with or without layers depending on the wind and temps.

Great in the rain

I have this jacket in the medium black. Love the length. I have long arms and it covers my butt. Was in New Zealand in their spring during a down pour. Kept me dry. Great fabric , not too heavy and not crinkly. Double zipper. 1 less star for no pit vents but coat does not run hot. Hood could be improved but it does have adjustments built in.

I love the lightness, the waterproofness, the flattering shape of this jacket. No peeling inside finish and no leaks as of yet. I am dry and also look great.

Great jacket ... except for the zipper

I'm a Kuhl fan for most of their clothing line. All was good with the Kuhl rain jacket ... fit, size M 5'5" 124# ... color, pockets, hood, & the cut a bit longer than many rain jackets. Yet I had to return due to the zipper being installed too low, making it nearly impossible to match the two sides to start zippering. I had to keep it partially zipped and put it on/take it off overhead like a hoodie if/when i needed to wear it zipped up.

Good jacket.

Good jacket. Runs large, but it fits over layers of clothes if the weather requires more than just rain protection. Good long length. Hood is large and helps protect your face if you don't have a hat underneath. Pockets are roomy. Works nicely as a light duty jacket.

Love KUHL!

Great jacket - I love all KUHL clothing. Lightweight, water repellent, nice color. I bought the Extra Large as it was on sale but it's just too big for me so I'll have to pay full price on the Kuhl site to get the right size.

Non-functioning zipper

The coat is very nice fit and fabric, however the zipper does not work at all. I’m disappointed to have spent this amount of money for a coat that I cannot use.
