This dress is SO cute and the fabric is awesome....BUT they missed the mark just a little. I'm 125 lbs and 5'5"...athletic but curvy. I have a cycling booty. The top half of the dress is perfect but there is too much fabric around the waist and then the hips and booty are too tight so the dress rides up constantly. I wanted to be able to wear it walking around NYC but it was too annoying. I had to keep pulling it down every 10 steps. Grrrrr. If they adjust this dress I will buy it in every color. If you are rail thin with zero behind and no hips then I think it would work except then you would have way too much fabric around the waist.

Loveeeeee! I am a size 12, L, waist 31, bra 36C and I bought a large and it fits great! The material is so cozy and though it’s form fitting I feel so confident in it! I’ve wanted this dress for so long and man am I happy I finally got it! This actually made me go buy two more dress styles from BY because I’m so obsessed- the strappy shorter one and the v-neck midi dress. The built in bra isn’t restricting either. I have a hard time with built in bras as the band is usually always too tight but this dress I was so pleasantly surprised the band feels so natural.
Sized up for relaxed fit
I'm 5'5" & 121-124 lbs with fluctuations, so normally I wear a small, but wanted something more relaxed. (My favorite go-to casual little black dress is past it's prime and needed replacing.) After reading several reviews saying they went up a size for a looser fit, I gave this dress a try in medium and am very pleased. Comfortable and loose, but still has a nice silhouette shape and is flattering. Surprisingly, it fits me well across the bust and shoulders; not loose or too low. I ordered the blue in my regular size small for those times when I want to have something to hug the curves a bit more. ;)
perfect summer dress
This dress is stunning. However, there is a vast difference in sizing between nocturnal navy and darkest night. I find the black fabric is always the tightest. I bought it in navy, but am considering the dusty color, too. Form fitting and beautiful. Can be dressed up or down.
Sensational Dress!
I'm 5', 32C/25/36, and the XS fits like it was made for me. BY spacedye is always fantastic, and the first time I tried it on I loved everything about this dress except the horrible shelf bra; just as "one size fits all" actually means "medium," "shelf bra" inevitably means "A cup." This one managed to simultaneously squish me flat and give me uniboob, like a magic trick no one wants to see. So I put on my most industrial-strength, super-padded push-up bra and tried again (pro tip: pull the dress up, don't go over your head!) and the bra beat the shelf-squisher into submission! The neckline/straps are enough to keep the bra hidden, so this spectacular dress now has its newest fan. Please, make it in *all* the colors!

Runs small
I purchased both a medium and large and unfortunately mistakenly kept the medium one instead of the large. Due to hormonal fluctuations I ended up gaining some weight and this dress immediately was too tight in medium. It definitely runs on the smaller side and unforgiving if you gain a few pounds. I tried to exchange back to a large and was told they cant accept my return out of the return window even though I have purchased A LOT from BY and supported through the years. I thought because its a womans inclusive brand they would understand. Disappointed.
I wanted to love it
I tried 3 sizes of this cute dress before I decided it was not for me (thanks to Beyond Yoga for their free return policy!). Because of the material it is made from and the construction (has a shelf bra built in), this dress is best suited for the smaller busted and more slender wearer. I am 5'4", 128, and a size large fit but was uncomfortable in the bust due to my size (B to C). The material is heavy due to what makes it stretchy and I was unsure I could wear it comfortably in weather warm enough to wear the style.

This fits so well and is super flattering. Im usually a 10/L in bottoms and M/L in tops (5’10” 34C 170) but I opted for the medium in this dress because I wanted it to be a little more form fitting. Really happy with the purchase and can’t wait to wear it out and about this summer… planning to pair it with a Jean jacket so I can hopefully wear it a little earlier! Love the square next and material too. And the slit makes it feel more flirty and fun. Feels like pajamas. Looks very elegant.
Truly all-day to night outfit..
I put this on in the morning the minute it arrived in the mail and dashed to town to the Dr’s, then grocery, then came home, changed shoes and walked the dog, raked the yard, then added jewelry and went out to dinner. The only thing I changed were my shoes. The material is soft as velvet and the stretch is easy and breathable with the split in the hem giving perfect mobility. This is now my goto dress for the day, when I want yo look good, but need to get things done. . I love it.
