Not up to usual Oboz standards, these shoes seem to have excessive room in the toe box, causing them crease weirdly across the toes and creating odd pressure points. I have three other pairs of Oboz in the house and have owned others in the past, but these are going back. Just not as well constructed as the others.
I bought these to hike the Northern Santiago trail. They are somewhat bulky and although lightweight, I probably should have tested them out more. After 500 kilometers they didn’t give much support to the ball of the foot and after multiple blisters I changed shoes. Perhaps it wasn’t the shoes, as blisters are part of long haul treks, but they could be more breathable and supportive. Overall I do like them, and at the end of 1000 kilometers I will keep them for shorter hikes.
Just received these shoes in the mail. These shoes are attractive and are comfortable out of the box. As noted by another, these shoes are roomier than I'm accustomed to with Oboz shoes I've owned in the past. I will give them a try but am concerned they will become even roomier as they wear in.
These are nice, always like Oboz. My only issue is that they are a little puffy/bulky; great for keeping your feet dry but it's a trade vs agility and breathability. I usually opt for my WP Lone Peaks instead anytime but winter.
