Flattering Jacket with some neat trivia
If you are a former military member and are familiar with the standard issued waffles we were issued for out winter gear then this might feel familiar to you. It feels lighter weight and more breathable while maintaining its insulation properties. And neat fun fact it’s also 100% recycled. I’m a man of many shapes and sizes and the jacket really hides the fact that I was a military man. The thumb holes are subtle enough to be missed but once found it makes the jacket feel like one long fingerless glove. If I had kids I pass this to them. For now, this is mine.
What is this jackets remit?
I can’t work out what you would use this jacket for. Wind rips through it. It’s thin so provides little if any warmth. It provides you with a couple of pockets but beyond that nothing. You could say it is a Summer jacket but as mine is black it’s not really a Summer colour. It’s also not the easiest to get your arms into. The material drags against your shirt sleeve. The fit is quite tight. I have a size small which is a snug fit. All in all I find it a puzzling item of clothing.
Cut for tall
I really wanted to love this, but ended up returning it because the fit was just too far off for me. Great look and materials, but it’s cut noticeably long in the body and narrow in the chest, which didn’t work with my frame. Sizing down to get the length under control meant the chest was too tight. Too bad, because it was the exact weight, color, and look I was after!
Great fleece to keep warm and a base layer
The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.
Solid fleece
A little tight in the armpits/shoulders. I was surprised that the zipper was on the left side for a men's fleece. Overall solid product and materials. Would purchase again!
Great jacket
I have purchased 5 of these jackets over 4 years. They are wonderful. Fit well. Wash well. BUT, why can’t the company make a GRAY,  both light & dark, in color?  Please,

Nice fleece with the perfect amount of warmth while being active. The cut is perfect but they should do a grey color one!
Warm As Can Be
Wonderful as a base layer or worn alone. One of the of the most comfortable and breathable garments I have ever worn.
