Perfectly Comfortable
I wore these shoes around my house, shopping and on a 1.5 mile walk. They did wonderful during all three activities. They are very lightweight, comfortable and did not rub or irritate. I found that they could go with a variety of outfits as well, and thinks that they would be great to use around the campsite after a long hike. You could wear these with socks, if desired, because you can adjust how tight or loose you want them with Velcro.
So comfy and lightweight
I got these in the color Tiger's Eye (a light sandy brown color). It's a lovely neutral color that goes with pretty much anything in my wardrobe. My absolute favorite thing about these sandals are how light weight they are. They barely weigh anything so perfect for traveling. I have used these as "shower shoes" for camping and they are comfortable just walking around the campsite. They have some arch support but I didn't feel the straps were sturdy enough to actually hike in these. I felt these were TTS/ run just a tad large. I normally wear a size 7.5/8 but I ordered the 6 and it was only a teeny bit small. Overall, I'm super happy with these Tevas and would recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of lightweight, versatile sandals.
Stylish active sandal
I love these Tevas because they a super cute and comfortable when worn alone. I sometimes might wear them with socks when im camping or hiking but they are not as comfortable or cute as the regular thicker banded Tevas. They still have the full support and comfort on their own though. I walked through water with them on and there was no slip which I was woried about with the bands being smaller. I definitely would recommend these for anyone looking for a cute sandal for any outdoor activity.
Simple, light sandals! Exactly a promised!
Simple sandals are exactly what they promised. They stood up to a spring-hike up river and I stayed in them the whole six miles (even when I assumed I'd need to swap out, since breaking in new shoes takes time!) Decent tread over uneven terrain and many afternoons of easy-going around town. I like their adjustment configuration, which allows some length-wiggle-room, rather than just strapping down the toe-box area. I'm a little worried they might not have a long lifetime; I generally trust Teva's, but the strap connections points seem a little wimpy ... fingers way crossed! They're so light-weight I hope to have them as easy around town and around-camp shoes for many seasons!
Your Vacation and Daily Staple Sandal
The sandal is an excellent choice for daily wear around town due to it's weight, feel, and look, but longer I wear it, the more I imagine packing a bag and running off to a week long holiday somewhere because I want to go on an adventure with them! Out of the box they felt very light and sleek. The strap configuration is adjustable at both the front of your foot and at the ankle so you can dial in the fit as needed (no socks vs socks fit or if you want it looser or tighter) which is invaluable for a sandal. The thinner build of the straps also make it a less in-your-face sandal so it's easier to dress it up a bit for a sunset beach-front dinner date. The sole is also very comfortable. It's just the one piece that makes up the bottom of the sandal, but whatever it is, it's great to wear all day! There's a pattern on the part of the sandal that touches your foot that lets air flow through to prevent your foot from sticking to it, but it's not such an aggressive pattern that I think about the entire time I wear it. The material they make the sole out of is tough enough to stand up to continuous walking but also soft and light so they make the walk a dream. The contouring also works well for me. Overall it's something I would look forward to wearing out, so much so I want to make more occasions to wear them! Sunny day? Let's go! Rainy day? Good, these will dry out fast! Beach day? I can run right into the water! Quick trip to the shop? I can slip these right on! Date night? These are cute! The only thing I would caution is that these are probably not built for serious river fording and long hikes. Could you probably make it? Sure, but follow the vibes these sandals give you. These sandals want to be your in-town adventure buddies to the farmers market, followed by some errands downtown, and come with you for a candlelight dinner at that new restaurant your friends have been telling you about. If you want to hop on a plane Europe to walk around town to eat gelato and authentic pizza... these will work for that, too!
Light but durable, would recommend!
These sandals are great! Perfect for running errands, a day at the beach or yoga in the park. They are light but durable and the tan color is very natural. The metal fasteners seem very sturdy plus the Velcro is generous so they will not come undone during more rigorous activity. I got a size 7 which fits perfectly where I usually take a 6.5 so I would recommend ordering half size up. I also have wide feet and these are really comfortable but they are also adjustable in that way. Would definitely recommend these!
Light & comfy minimalist take on the classic Teva
This is a thin, modern take on the classic Teva velcro sandal that is comfortable and functional. The sandal is nice and light, and I like that it's partially made from recycled materials. I liked the narrower straps, and there was nice arch support in the footbed. The shoe as nicely wide through the toes, and with the velcro strap there as well, could be adjusted to a comfortable fit. Might be a touch wide aesthetically for very narrow feet, but I loved the shape. It says it features "Life Natural, a peppermint-based anti odor treatment" - there was no noticeable smell after hours of wearing (and none of that gross new plastic smell initially either), but it's also a very airy shoe. Ran true to size.
Love the slim sandals!
I just learned about the slim version of these sandals (honestly can't remember where...) and I was so excited. I wore the original Teva's years ago, and they were great for camping/hiking etc. These are just as comfortable, and look a bit more civilized to wear for travel, sightseeing, and around town. I was looking for a super comfortable, flat walking sandal in tan and I think these will be perfect for my upcoming trip. I got the Tiger's Eye color, which seems a little lighter than in the photos, but it will be fine. There are generously sized, and the 10 fit my wide feet very well, whereas in some other sandals and dress shoes I need to size up.They also come in some fun colors, I might have to get another pair.
Great cushion sandals
I like these sandals a lot, the sole has a good amount of cushion so they're very comfortable and the pebbled texture against a bare foot feels nice - with socks you don't notice it. The straps are slim, but keep the shoe on without digging in, which is a problem I've had with other sandals. There are two Velcro points of adjustment, over the top of the ankle and over the top of the toes, I thought I would miss the back-of-the-heel adjustment, but honestly it fits great! I also think the hardware being metal is a nice touch, the triangles that keep the strap joints together are a light silver that gives it a slightly nicer look. My only cons are the color I got it in (my fault), and a kind of odd design in the pull-tab of the Velcro straps. For the color, I got "Tiger's Eye" and since it's a lighter color, it picks up dirt and scuffs more obviously, which I hadn't considered when I got them. The other con is that the part of the strap that you pull off the velcro has this additional weaving on the top of it, but that weaving doesn't extend to the whole strap. So I'm pulling on this stitching because I think it's the end and it's not coming up. I attached a picture to show better what I mean, you can see where some threads are loose that I kept trying to pull up :D Not a deal breaker, I still love these, but I'm not sure why they did that
Comfy and sleek
I have previously worn the classic Teva and the midform Teva so I was excited to try these. I was a little concerned that they would be less comfortable with the thinner strap, but I actually found them to be MORE comfortable, with a bit less rubbing. I have worn them with and without socks and I think they look a bit nicer than the classic Teva, a little less rugged and more minimalist. Like the original, they do not offer support, but a super-cushioned footbed that does not slide around as much as other sandals.
