I love this sleeping bag so much! The features on it provide so much flexibility and comfort for pretty much any adventure. I like how this can be used for car camping and backpacking which my family and I do a lot of each, so versatility with gear is so important when making an investment like this, and this one is very much worth it. It’s lightweight, the temperature regulation features like the vents are a game changer, and as a side sleeper the classic spoon design makes me never want to go to another style sleeping bag ever again. If your looking to upgrade your sleeping bag game, I would highly suggest the Women's Disco 30, no doubt!
Purchased this sleeping ing bag to zip to my men’s Disco down bag and was not disappointed. The bag could pack down a little smaller, but it is not too large for its size and temperature rating. The coldest I have had the bag out in was 25 degrees Fahrenheit and the bag was warm and comfortable. The zipping to my men’s Disco Down long feature work way better than I thought it would. There was plenty of space for two with the bags zipped together. The only down side is the cut of the bags can create a little gap where they meet on top. This was not a major issue over all. The thermo gills performed very well, keeping the bag comfortable on a 40 degree Fahrenheit night. I would recommend this bag in combination with a men’s Disco Down for any couple looking for a shareable sleeping system.
I don’t understand why this has so many good reviews. I’ve had other Nemo sleeping bags that were fantastic, there used to be a women’s 20 that was yellow that was great. This one, however, has so much room inside (in the width) that it is no longer warm. It was 45°F and I was shivering fully covered in the bag. The bag has a COMFORT rating of 30. Missed the mark.
This is a great sleeping bag so far! I've only used it down to about 50F but I was toasty warm in it! I got this as a backpacking alternative to my Nemo Forte 20F (which I still love for car camping) and it packs down SO much smaller and is so much lighter! I like that the head and toe box have the water resistant material so condensation doesn't get the down wet and the main zipper seems to have improved since the Forte (meaning it doesn't get caught as much). Also I was so happy to have a color that wasn't teal, it seems like that's just the default option for women's stuff these days. I was a little bit confused about the mesh storage bag because it's quite small and doesn't allow the down to fully loft, but I reached out to Nemo directly and they said it's apparently been tested to store it like that as long as it's dry. I think I'll try to store it fully lofted as much as I can, though. Just something to consider if you prefer to store it in a large bag. I live in the SE with thick humidity so I worry it will never be truly dry in this climate but who's to say.
I LOVE this sleeping bag. I love it so much that I have it in multiple temperature ratings so that I have a nemo year round. As a side sleeper, it is so hard to find stuff for backpacking and camping that doesn't feel constricting and keeps me sleeping comfortably throughout the night. This bag does just that. It has vents on the side to keep you cool as well as expands down in the lower legs so that you can move from sleeping on one side to the other. Very light for the trail! Bonus is if your partner has the same sack, they zip together! Great for when I am camping with my partner. It really is the best of all worlds.
I got the womens sleeping bag because they have more insulation and much better cold comfort ratings than the same rated mens bags. Ive had the mens disco 15 degree bad and i found it a bit chilly in anything below 30 degrees. But the 15 degree womens should be much warmer. The long womens is the same size all around as the mens regular just with the zipper on the opposite side as the mens bag. The trade off is that the womens disco 15 is quite a bit bulkier and heavier than the mens disco 15, due to the extra insulation. But if you need the extra warmth, the womens disco is a great cheaper option compared to the sonic or another warmer but much higher priced bag.
I am a side sleeper (or more like moving around all night kind of sleeper lol). So, this is a perfect sleeping bag for me because it gives me a lot of room to move around and I don't have to feel as claustrophobic. Overall, this is a very comfortable sleeping bag that works great for me! I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who hikes into the backcountry and needs the security of staying warm regardless of what nature throws at you. The overall weight and packed size make it worth it even more, especially for hunters. I’m 5’8” 215lbs and went with the women’s long bag because of the extra loft. Great product Nemo!
I bought this bag after realizing my 35*F bag just wasn’t cutting it for my nights camping in South Korea. This 15*F bag is exactly what I was looking for. Still light and packable (although a little heavier for obvious reasons). My favorite feature is the vents. It’s such a great idea and makes this bag so much more versatile. I got giddy when I realized there was even a zipper on the inside (in case I decide I want to be warmer AND don’t want to stick my arms out of the bag). The insulated toe box is another cool feature that I totally appreciate (after years of wrapping my sleeping bag ends with whatever gortex jacket I have). Thanks for making a bag that is so thoughtful!!!
It's comfortable, a lovely shape, and keeps me pretty warm. I love the features so much and in general love this brand, so I was really disappointed to see that after a few light uses, down is shedding from the seams in multiple places. I had to put tape in probably 6 places already and I am always seeing more spots where feathers are slowly seeping out. It's both from seams and from little parts of the fabric. I always wake up with down on my pajamas after sleeping in this bag. For a company with a reputation for high quality equipment (and a price point to match), this was really disappointing for me.
I just got this bag and so far I am not dissapointed. I am a stomach sleepers and there is plenty of room for me to kick a leg up and it packs down so nicely.
