Our son finds the shorts to be comfortable and leightweight. Good for hiking or even at school. He uses the side zipper pocket for storing rocks, seeds, flowers, or even trading cards! The drawstring is a nice addition to the elastic waistband.

Super comfortable and lightweight shorts. My son has worn them hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and for everyday wear. They drape nicely without any weird bumps or lumps and fit him perfectly. He loves the zipper pocket but if this is for an older kid or smaller adult, it would not be able to fit a phone in the pocket. The main pockets have a nice piece of fabric at the bottom to the triangle to keep things from falling out. He has gotten them wet when out playing in puddles or mountain biking through streams and they dry very quickly. They have a little bit of stretch too them so they make it really easy to move around in. They were easy to wash and all of the mud and dirt washed out of them without any issues. The shorts seem to be made from quality fabrics so we expect them to be very durable.

My kiddo really enjoys wearing these shorts on all our adventures. He kept them on all weekend on a camping trip, loves wearing them on bike rides and even wears them to swim in the river. Fabric has put up well with standard kid abuse when messing around outside. The zippered side pocket is a hit to store gadgets and little finds without risk of them falling out. Only downside is the fit is a little big for the size compared to other brands.

The size was spot on for my nine year-old, and he repeatedly talked about how comfortable the shorts are and how much he enjoyed wearing them while playing basketball, lounging around, or running around in the yard. I'm sure as we get out more and head into summer, he'll find use for the convenient zippered pocket and water-resistant finish!

Lightweight but durable. Comfortable/ breathable. Used for soccer, bike riding, and everyday wear. The pockets are real and actually deep enough to use plus the zipper pocket is perfect for something small like cash or keys. Wore and washed several times and they still look and feel new. I do wish they were offered in more colors.

These shorts have been through it all. Hiking, climbing on rocks, playing in the sandbox, playing at the beach, and at the river. The fit great, show no signs of wear at all. They fit really well and are made for all day comfort! The long version of the shorts are great because they help protect the knees and legs, especially when going through brush and other tall grass when hiking. The shorts are also lightweight, which makes it great for running around.

Great durable shorts for my son. We play outside a lot, camp and hike. He thinks they are comfortable. Zippers work well and are durable. They survive the washing machine well with how dirty they get.

I am a petite 5 ft woman and have a hard time finding good fitting clothes. These shorts are perfect in length, good depth of side pockets, and good feel of the fabric. The front zippered pocket could be made longer, however. Overall, though I loved the shorts so much I ended up buying three! (It helped it was on sale.)

My son went to a Nature camp this year and he loves these shorts. They wear and wash really well and most importantly they've held up to all the adventurers he's participated in. Per my son they dry fast.

Light weight, quick dry and durable shorts for my 5 year old. We loved it so much, my wife went back to the store to buy more and picked up the last one on the shelf.
