Love the wide open mesh top to view the stars. Easy to set up. Fits 4 short adults who like each other a lot on camp pads. Ideal for two adults in reality. Enough space for small dog/child. Wish it had a window on the door for better air flow. Too heavy to back pack with, recommend for car camping.
First, we LOVE REI and it's products but not this one. The single door has NO bug mesh in it so your'e either opening the door to get air and letting bugs have open access????? OR you're closing the door and having poor circulation if the fly is on.. The back window isn't covered by the fly well and rain can get in.. We're disappointed in this one.. Sorry people...
I bought this tent because it looked like a great value for the money. it is fairly priced and easy to set up. it can be a challenge to get the poles attached to the tent, it kinda feels like you're going to rip the tent. it is tight. this tent kept my boys and I dry during a 2 day drizzle. the window can leak a little, but not bad. I would spend a little more on a higher end tent next time.
This tent is an ok basic tent. It fits 2 cots plus some stuff, which is what I was going for, but the lack of a mesh fly is really annoying!
Overpriced for what it is. Easy setup but low quality zippers, materials, etc.
