Won't charge via vehicle AC outlets
I have an SUV with 2 AC outlets that I use to charge most of my devices. I was hoping to charge the station via the outlets, but the station won't charge. I contacted Ecoflow customer support to troubleshoot why it wouldn't charge, but customer service was not very helpful. But the included car charger does work, but I think it's slower.

Battery discharge
Battery completely discharged if you don’t use it. Had it completely charged after last camping trip and put it in storage. Brought it on another camping trip a few weeks later and it was completely dead. Would not recommend if you are looking for Back up battery in case of power outage.

Fits a bunch of needs!

This was an excellent purchase with the portable panel. I bought this mainly for my wife's convenience in case of an outage (which is fairly common here). Her 2 "essential" needs for power are a floor fan (for the heat or sleep) and a TV to fight boredom. (+ cellphone:). After testing, the River 2 Max can power these for over 5 continuous hours, including the satellite receiver. With the solar panel in our area, it should at least double that time. I expected fast charging but was impressed how it topped itself off in a few minutes from 65% charge. It's a welcome addition to our larger system. It's light enough to easily carry and I may just sneak it out on a few fishing or even camping trips.

Exceeded expectations

I bought this to power an ARB freezer while on a road trip when the truck isn’t running. The specs said this would power a mini-fridge for 10 hours so after receiving it, I tested it out. Plugged it in to get a full charge, then plugged the freezer in. Set the temp to 35 and the fridge ran for more than 15 hours before shutting down! Needless to say, I was impressed. I ran another test by setting the fridge to 0 degrees and it still ran more than 10 hours. The app is nice to have while the unit is in the bed of the truck. I can monitor the remaining charge easily with it. Well worth the price and I look forward to discovering new uses for this in the future

PULL THE TRIGGER!!!

This is my 4th eco flow product! We have the River Max gen 1 and I must say I LOVE all the changes made to it in River 2! We have the River mini as well and I use it for going to the beach on my kayak etc. And at home we have the Delta Mini I highly recommend eco flow products because you simply cannot beat the Re-Charge times. If your money is funny look at eco flows REFURBISHED units and use Klarna or Afterpay! BUT GET SOME POWER IN YOUR HOUSE! You’re Welcome ☺️ ITS A COP!!!

Best for off grid solar only setups... 1 issue

I have tried MANY portable power stations to find the right unit to run a continuous full time little power station completely running on Solar. This is probably the best, one reason is that it NEVER shuts down when power pull/usage is light. That was critical when running a small shed off the grid. However, you have got to get the thing to report even a slight power pull on the screen. I run a wifi unit and a small tempest relay for weather. They pull a light load that does not show up on the screen as usage. This is unfortunate as the battery life drains despite the screen or app showing no usage. The charging also doesn't show except when its high enough to register. Its my only issue.

I like it

This little ecoflow charges up fast. I have used it to charge my older iphone and my new iphone as well as my laptop (not at the same time) and the battery drains down faster than I expected. I haven't tried appliances yet. It is easy to use. I will order another one soon.

Great Battery overall couple small changes

I have the River Max 1 and 2 now the only two changes I would make the the second is bring back the light and the handle adds more size to it for backing vs having it on top like the original.

Good unit

I would have given it a 5 but the unit didn't come with a carring bag. I don't want it to get destroyed. I just wish I got a bag with it.

Amazing! Perfect for base camp!

I love this power station! As an avid backpacker, I have a base camp set-up and this power station is perfect for that! It runs all my needed gadgets along with some comfort gadgets before & after my backpacking trip. Since it only weighs 13 lbs., it's easy to transport. Plus, it fully charges within an hour. And I have so many ways to charge it (in my vehicle, while driving to where my base camp is going to be; AC; USB & solar). Plus, it's so easy to use. This is perfect for outdoor trips, house back-up, etc. I couldn't be happier!
