Although it was a nice finish and have no issue on my left pedal. the right pedal is not safe to use with uneven and unpredictable release tension and at times right pedal clip would be totally stuck on lightest settings. When I crashed at one point, right foot was still clip-on pedal that added to my injury. Immediately returned the HT Pedal with concerns on quality control and safety.
I have 3 sets of these HT pedals and I love them for my gravel and commuting bikes. The large platform means I can wear more comfortable shoes (that don't have stiff carbon soles). These pedals are easy to clip in to when starting off from a standing stop - no farting around trying to get clipped after a traffic light. The spring tension is easy to adjust and is dependably secure. I have had zero issues with these pedals and I have used them for years.
