I just keep failing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the 2nd pair I order. The 1st were my normal size and the came in poorly made. One shoes was scuffed up bad and the other was to small. Overall they were tight and damaged so I returned them. The 1st pair was black and size 9.5. The 2nd pair was white because I needed to order a size up and the blacks were out of stock. The whites came in looking good. I ordered them in size 10s and fit perfectly with and with out thick socks. I wore these around the house to test the for comfort. Passed. Then I went out side in the cooler weather and they passed being warm. Now I've owned these boots for less then 24 hours and worn them a total of idk 30 mins. And the leather is already looking stressed. Which would lead me to believe these will not last long. I did contact the company and they want me to send them in for inspection. Who has time for that. It's winter now! I needed boots now. For the price, I would think they would be better. Almost 200 on boots that look like they will fail by the end of winter with minimal usage. I'm not impressed. I would consider reordering, however that would be my 3rd pair and when does it end.. I'm disappointed.

Frustrating boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read all the reviews saying these boots run small. I ordered 2 pairs, a half a size larger and a full size larger. I tried the half size larger first. While they fit in the length, they were incredibly WIDE. There's no way these boots will work for me. I'm a solid 8.5. After trying these on, there is no size that will work for me. It's unfortunate because they seem to be GREAT quality. They were exactly what I was looking for. I live in the mountains. It gets very cold, and we have a lot of snow. If you can find a size that works for you, go for it. They felt like great boots. But the sizing is definitely an issue. I will keep looking for taller, waterproof boots.

Worth the splurge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a hiker or an outdoorsy person but I do have to walk on rough sidewalks and icy alleyways to get to work. I typically buy cheap knockoff brands even though I have poor circulation and my feet always freeze so I have to wear two pairs of socks... but not with these. When I first tried them on in my house I didn't want to take them off because they were so comfy and then when I wore them outside, I only had to wear one pair of socks because they were so insulated and warm. I actually feel safer (not just more comfortable) wearing them because the traction is very good, too. Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd pair I bought. The pair were size 9.5 in the black. They were tight. So I reordered and the black ones were out of stock so I went with the white/grey. I ordered a size 10 and they are perfect. Just a little extra room for thick socks if I were to need them. But also great fit with out. I was worried about them not being warm enough, so I stood outside in 28 degrees and in snow and they were warm. I also like how I do not look like I have huge feet. I would ordered again.. but in black. I should tell you I normally wear size 9.5 in tennis. So, maybe size up just 1 size. Delivery was fast. The fur does shed a little, but it's inside my shoes, so honestly no one is gonna see it.

Size up. Overall seems to be a good boot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They've done the job- keep my feet warm and traction has been good so far for the little walking I've done so far in ice and snow this season. They look wide around the ankle from the front and there appeared to be more faux fur than I expected SIZE UP. I read the reviews and assumed they were just narrow. I have narrow feet and I typically wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9 and 9.5. I'd say the 9.5s fit more comfortably but they came damaged so I returned them. I kept the 9 because I needed winter boots asap, they fit but are a little snug depending on what socks I wear

Decent boots, durable, worth it if on sale

I've had the a few weeks now and have used them daily, so I'm comfortable reviewing them. First, I had to exchange for a larger size - they definitely run a full size small I'd say. My North Face hikers are 9.5 and the 10 in these felt small. 10.5 is great with regular socks or even pretty thick socks. They didn't have a breaking in period, felt pretty comfy from the get-go. I've worn them in temps from around zero to minus ten. Walking and moving in snow or cold they are warm and I have no complaints. If you're standing around in the cold or sitting in the snow they aren't warm. I was sitting in the snow playing "snowplows" with my son and it was about -5oC and my feet definitely weren't warm. But, walking the dog in colder weather I have no complaints at all.

So so small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots run so so small. I usually wear a size 8 religiously in every shoe I've ever worn. I ordered an 8.5 based on the fact that I am 8.5 in other north face shoes. They are still so small. I ordered a 9 and they are better however a 9.5 would be the right size. How do we go from an 8 to 9.5? That doesn't make any sense and it's very misleading to costumers. I would recommend the boots however be aware that these run almost a size and a half too small.

Warm, Comfortable, and Cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm, comfortable, and cute. I used these for the first time while snowmobiling in Utah, and I loved them. At one point I was standing in ~3 feet of fresh snow and they kept my feet completely dry and warm. Per the reviews saying they ran small, I sized up one full size to leave extra room for thick socks. I probably could've gotten away with only going 1/2 a size up, but one full size up worked well since I'd rather have the extra room.

Best winter boot! Converted from wearing Sorels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the most comfortable snow boots! I've worn Sorels for years but decided to try something else this year and these are so much more comfortable and much warmer than Sorels. The inside is like a cloud. The fleece lining is so soft and cozy feeling. I usually wear an 8, sometimes an 8.5 and I sized up to a 9 in these based on the reviews and they fit perfectly! Also great grippy sole. And I've gotten so many compliments on them!

I need all colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my boots in this afternoon and I was absolutely excited to have them in my possession. Unfortunately, they are a little too snug. Therefore, I already had to request for a refund. It's ok though, I'm just reordering the same style but in a bigger size. I believe I need a size 7 1/2 rather than my regular size "7". So before you submit your order be sure that you size up at least half of your original size!
