I have always enjoyed Harom Karam audio products and the flip6 is even better than my flip 5 which I lost and now with the customize feature I have gotten many compliments on it. the sound is tremendous. I highly recommend this product.
Awesome Speakers!
These are most excellent traveling speakers. They replace two Flip 4s that finally started failing - base sound started producing popping and rattling noises. The only issue I have with these speakers, which is basically the same issue I had with the Flip 4s, is the documentation. Setting up a single speaker is described but not two speakers. For anyone reading this with two speakers, the process is: - Pair one speaker to the streaming device but not the second speaker. - With both speakers on, press the Connect/Partyboost button (∞) on both speakers (not the Bluetooth button). JBL could do us a lot of good by adding this simple two step process to the Quick Start Guide and save many of us a lot of headache.

Amazing speaker
I bought this speaker and I am so happy I did the sound quality is amazing and I personalized it and the colors that I chose online were very accurate to the actual color.
Flip 6 has problems compared to Flip 5
I had a Flip 5 and the Flip 6, by comparison, is not as good. I noticed especially at high notes it has a shrill and sharp quality. For example, in a piano selection where the artist is hitting high notes a lot, it is unpleasant. I do not recall having that sensation with the Flip 5. And I am listing to many of the same pieces. I am considering returning the Flip 6.
Poor custom order service
Purchased a custom unit with a protection plan. Brand new out of box, didn't work, followed up for a warranty repair and was instructed to return and purchase a new unit. Offered a discount, but less than original, so replacement would cost SAME as first speaker and extended warranty. Why wasn't I to submit for a warranty repair or just offered a direct exchange?
design is not perfect, battery not as advertised
i got this as an upgrade from the flip 4. the flip speakers have batteries that are no where near the advertised range and also degrade really fast (flip 4 battery became really bad after 2 years, i hope that this flip 6 will last longer) the JBL logo heats up after prolonged use for me. the battery is definitely not 12 hours.. the design quality is quite sad. you can see in the attached video that the loud bass of the music does actually move the speaker. when i first used it I had placed it on a stand and when i walked away i heard it fall down after playing some music. while i appreciate the power of force from the sound of the speaker, the design should accommodate that. there is such a tiny notch that prevent the device from rolling but it does not have the shape as seen in the Flip 4. this new shape combined with the power force of the sound leads to this frustrating experience in which the speaker tries to escape from you.
Sound is great, doesn’t pair with older jbl models
We bought this speaker to pair with jbl flip 4, doesn’t pair. We bought to enhance our speaker connection to movie projector, doesn’t have AUX jack as former jbl models. The sound is amazing but buyer beware it’s not pairing compatible with older speakers (one of the features they’ve always advertised prior to this model 6) and no longer has a AUX jack
Disappointed.
The sound on the Flip 6 was not near as good as my 3 that died. Also, VERY disappointed it did not come with a wall charger like the other one did, how ridiculous! The button for on/off is also too small and hidden from how it is supposed to sit.
Disappointing
I am about to use my warranty because it didn’t even last a year without making crackling sounds. Very clear their quality has gone down significantly as my brother has had an older one for several years with no issue.
