Nice shirt, besides some shotty stitching on the shoulder. It showed up with a half broken seam.
Small fit…
I ordered two Free Country shirts for my hubby, because he wanted some lightweight, button up shirts that won’t wrinkle while traveling. Sadly, the fit is very small, so had to return them. The XXL in the REI brand fits him perfectly, but apparently the Free Country shirts run much smaller. He could not button them up and the arms were hilariously short.
Nice comfortable shirt, but weighs 2x rated weight
This shirt is nice and comfortable, and (when new) even looks fine for about-town wear. But it weighs way more than the rated weight. Mine tips the scales at 223 g / 7.9 oz, for a Medium. Bought this for a thru hike so was aiming for super lightweight. Misleading weights on products really mess up your base weight.
Good shirt for travel
Good quality shirt ideal for travel. Fit is good. Easy to hand wash and air dry.
Not delivered as promised.
The shirt is great but the delivery was second rate. I ordered this shirt and an REI non-outlet shirt at the same time. Both shirts were shipped at the exact same time and traveled the exact same route making the exact same stops along the way. Delivery was promised on a Thursday for both shirts. The REI non-outlet shirt was delivered on the day before promised and this shirt was not delivered until the day after promised. I understand this is more a USPS issue but they are acting as your agent.

Perfect travel or outdoor shirt
I wouldn’t wear this hiking - the weight is too heavy - but it’s ideal for working on a hot day/a bbq/ travel as it looks good enough and is incredibly wicking. Buying a second one.
