Smartwool  Run Targeted Cushion Mid Crew Socks - Men's

Comfortable socks. Enough cushion under the heel without bunching up. Used for a 5k in Brooks Levitate 2s and for a 3 mile walk in Keen Durands. Durability remains to be seen, though they seem a little beefier than Smartwool run low cuts that I've had. Colors are great

I've been wearing smartwool for 30 plus year, since the only sock was the grey hiking sock. these are by far my favorite summer sock and workout socks, they will change your game. only down fall . . they are never and I mean never in the stores, let alone in the XL size, walk into any store carrying smartwool 1000 pairs of medium a few large and maybe 1 or 2 XL sized socks. anyway order a pair or buy a pair if you can find them!

I've probably tried some 20 different styles of Smartwool socks over the past 20 years and this one is about as good or better as the original pair I bought 20 years ago at a cycling shop. Since the original pair, and probably the best, I've been on a quest to find the perfect Smartwool replacement. Many have been good but were lacking in either fit, comfort or durability, but mostly DURABILITY. This style is much better in regards to pilling and shrinking too, which I despise. I have to limit the number of black socks in my drawer, so please consider more color options that include gray with an accent color band on top, for starters. Art socks are great, but we need the basics too. In my opinion, the perfect sock is one sock- can be worn to the office, then the bike or run. Mid crew height and light cushioning is probably best all around concept for the true ""One"" sock.

With new running shoes being constructed with mesh tops, I was needing something with a little more warmth for my cold weather runs. My daughter highly recommended Smartwool products, so I thought I would give these a try. While the price may seem high, the warmth and comfort are well worth it. I ran in snow the other morning and my toes never got cold.

Really like these socks. Read reviews from runners that said they were nice and warm. So ordered them for my cycling in winter. A bit bummed when they arrived and were thinner than I expected they'd be. However, once I wore them in the cold (40 degrees and above), I was and am very happy with how warm they keep my feet. Thinking to buy another pair.

I love Smartwool. I got these as a replacement because another pair which of the same model (well loved) ripped right before two years. These are the same model and they are perfect for winter runs. Just the right amount of cushion. I've got a lot of premium socks and these are ones I always reach for if they are clean.

I recently purchased 3 pr to rotate use on a 27 day (500 mile run) adventure. I am currently just past the halfway mark. The sox are holding up well. So far, no blisters or chaffing. After each use I rinse and air dry. There is plenty of life left in each pair. In fact perhaps two pair would have been sufficient.

I am a true to size men's 9/9. 5, and ended up purchasing the medium size, which still fits my foot well. Love the supportive stitching pattern, the amount of padding feels great for trail and road running in the hot Southern California weather. Have only been using for a few weeks now but really enjoying so far!

Been wearing ankle height socks for years but wanted to have a couple pairs of socks I could travel with to use under khakis and be able to go for a run in. Liked the comfort and coolness of these Run Targeted Cushion Mid Crew Sock so much, I find I'm reaching for them on daily runs even when not traveling.

WOW! Bought 2 pair of these socks for my husband and he LOVES THEM! They are just the right thickness and have cushioning in the right places. He has asked me to get him more of these! Absolutely will do. He is very hard to please but Smartwool has outdone themselves. Thank you!!
