Favorite Pair of Running Socks
Smartwool has long been a favorite sock brand of mine. Their socks are durable (lasting years of frequent use), feel great (high quality material), and keep my feet comfortable. These running socks are no exception. The style is such that these socks do not fall down during runs and I can even wear them with high top converse without any slippage. Further, the fit and level of padding is perfect, providing a nice cushion for daily wear without and without shoes. Lastly, I love that my feet tend to sweat less in these socks - to the point that I can wear them multiple times before needing to wash them. Great socks and highly recommend!
Socks ripped on sides
The weak point of this sock seems to be here (see picture) on both sides of the sock. I have 2 pairs of these, and they are otherwise in great condition, except that both pairs have developed this hole on both their sides. The holes developed where the socks' seams meet
Perfect Amount of Cushion
Great for every use, from exercise, long travel, casual wear. Makes any shoe more comfortable. Great piece to have on your feet for everyday comfort. The fit is nice. I am between size 11-12 feet, and I had to go up to an XL for a bit in Smartwool socks, but I am glad that these fit we really well in a large. Good improvement in the sock, comfortable heel. Soft feel, lightweight with a good amount of cushion for being the ""Targeted Cushion"", similar to the old Light Elite. I plan to wear these until there are holes straight through the bottom! #SmartwoolLove
Bring back the solid white!
These are great socks. . . best I've ever had actually! I've been wearing them almost exclusively since I discovered them a few years ago. They're comfortable, have just the right amount of cushioning, and wick moisture well. I am on my feet all day for work and wear these in tennis shoes. They're great when running or playing sports as well. My only complaint is that Smartwool needs to bring the all-white socks back. I need to look professional, and I like the simple, clean look of the white! Why discontinue the most classic color out there?!
Soft Compression Your Feet Will Love!
After owning a few different pairs of Smartwool socks, I didn't think my #SmartwoolLove for socks could expand, but a pair of these Run Targeted Cushion socks have proved me wrong! This is my first pair of Smartwool socks with Targeted Cushion, and I found my arches really appreciating the slight compression whether I'm wearing the socks on a run, around the house, or at work. The socks are soft and the weight is great. With the Indestructawool structure integrated into the socks, I'm curious how many miles & years I can put into them!
An isolated defect?
Beautiful socks, but the toe seams ruptured as soon as I put them on. Rats!
Great socks great price!
Best summer socks ever. They have the perfect support for workout/ankle. They provide enough comfort while keeping my feet dry and supported. They go great with my workout shoes or with my lo-too Merrill’s. I like them so much I bought a pair for everyday. The thing is I’m just a regular dude. I’m not a “fitness” nut or even what I would consider an “outdoorsy” person. I just know when I find a quality product I like, I like to let people know. These are hands down the best summer/daily/hike/workout socks I have found.
A low sock that stays up!
These are a great option for a low ankle sock. I used them at the gym and running, as well as daily wear and I didn't have any issues with the sock sliding off my heel. There was definitely some movement while running as the sock adjusted to my foot but once it got settled in, it stayed where it needed to be. These socks have just enough cushion in them while remaining nice and thin for high output activities. They are just snug enough and don't leave your toes feeling squeezed after a full day's wear. #SmartwoolLove
Another great sock!
Super comfy socks, I wore these running and cycling and had no problems with them falling down or stinking. They were warm enough but not overly throughout all my activities. I honestly have nothing to complain about them or correct at this point, I think time will tell with the durability but they still look like new which is fantastic! Definitely plan on getting more of these in the future. At a men's 11. 5 shoe size these fit perfectly at a large and I would say they are true to size. #SmartwoolLove
