Smartwool  Hike Full Cushion Lolo Trail Crew Socks - Men's

I have been a rough carpenter for 33 yrs. I build structures and work outdoors every day all day. From the heat of the summer to the freezing Michigan winters. I tried many different socks over the yrs until about 15 yrs ago when I was given a pair of smart wool hikers. It changed my life. They give great support, comfort and the wicking the moisture away is unbelievably good. Plus they don't wear out quickly. With constant use it takes about 5-7 yrs to go through them. Since then I have switched to smartwool socks for all occasions. Ankle for summer, hikers for work and over the calves for skiing. If you buy a pair of these you won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product, I work in the logging industry in hot weather in heavy boots, these socks keep my feet dry even on the hottest days. I used to have horrible problems with athletes foot and embarrassingly smelly feet. Since I have switched to smart wool socks all those problems have gone away. I prefer the full cushion socks for work but use the lighter weights for around town wear and am extremely happy with those too. All socks have a great wicking action, dont shrink in the wash and stay thick and comfortable for years. Great company great product. #sweepstakes

These socks are very comfortable. They are sized well and are heavily cushioned. I use them when I am standing for long periods on a concrete floor and they make an amazing difference. Great value and they look good as a bonus.

Love these socks. Extra cushioning - great for hiking, backpacking, yard work or everyday use. Just the right amount of lycra spandex to keep them from slipping around. Maybe I'm a bit odd, but I can wear these full cushion trail socks all year long. The merino wool keeps my feet warm in the winter and dry in the summer. I bought 6 pairs about 6 weeks ago. I fully expect these to wear like iron -- as did my previous heavy duty Smartwool socks. If not, I'll re-review.

Great fit on these socks. Another popular brand (DT) fits way to tight around my ankle but I do not have that issue with smartwool, the fit of these socks is really good. Quality is very high and they are my preferred sock. I also like the length of them, taller than some companies ""crew"" but not too tall to be in the way it's perfect. I have some smartwools that are pushing 10 years old so I have no doubt these will be durable.

I live in Alaska and I hike as often as possible, which is very frequently. We deal with every kind of weather and I have hunted for just the right sock for years. Smartwool's products (not only socks!) are just the quality and comfort I need. They are extremely durable and I never have to worry about my foot comfort during a long trek. My teenage grandsons loved their new 2022 Christmas socks. I buy these as gifts all the time. Everyone loves them. In 2022 I bought Smartwool socks for my 3 grandsons, my granddaughter and my daughter- in-law. Everyone loved their gifts. It was hard deciding which to buy because there is such a huge selection to choose from. I own several pair myself. They wash and wear really well. My son got socks for his birthday last year

I have been using these socks for hiking, walking, and also for being cozy in the winter time in my drafty home. This time I bought them for my son for Christmas. He is in Scouts has some winter camping coming up and I know he will be warm and toasty in these. Plus, the cushion is great for hiking! And I love the durability of these socks! I have some favorites that I just keep bringing out every winter!
