Neck: Around the fullest part of the neck, at the base.
Chest: Around the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: From the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hip: Around the widest point of the hips.
Inseam: From the crotch to the anklebone on the inside of the leg.

Versatile mid-weight flannel
Perfect shoulder season flannel! The pattern and colorway of this Black Diamond shirt are attractive, with fall tones and just enough complexity – a genuine plaid pattern, not just simple squares. The material is mid-weight organic cotton. Soft and plenty warm enough for fall or mild winter temperatures by itself – and thin enough to work well as a mid-layer for colder days. It’s also high quality, well-constructed and feels like it will last. The shirt is neat enough to be worn for casual Fridays in the office but works well on gentle hikes too (for more challenging hikes, you probably would be better with synthetic materials or wool). I can also see myself wearing it around the campsite on cooler summer evenings. Overall, this is a very versatile shirt that has made its way firmly into my wardrobe rotation. I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. I love flannel shirts. They are pretty much all I wear. And, the Black Diamond Project Flannel shirt has proved itself to be a winner, making it one of my daily go-to shirts. It not only showcases a stylish design that I thoroughly enjoy, but the fabric's feel is also incredibly comfortable. The flannel material strikes the perfect balance in terms of thickness and weight—neither too thin nor too thick—making it versatile for various weather conditions. Perfect for Montana's winter, the shirt offers both style and warmth, making it an ideal choice for a quick sidewalk shovel or hanging out around the house. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 230 lbs, I opted for the Large size, and I am impressed with the fit. Despite a slight shrinkage after washing and drying, the shirt still - for the most part - maintains a comfortable and flattering appearance. As I mentioned, it did shrink just a bit, but still fits great. For those who may be between sizes, I would recommend considering going up one size or being cautious during the drying process. Overall, my experience with the Black Diamond Project Flannel has been entirely positive. I have no reservations about recommending it to others and would happily pick up another to add to my daily options. Great shirt!

The nicest flannel you'll own.
This is easily the nicest flannel I've owned. I have a few from American Eagle and this one is much nicer. It's thicker and more warm. The first thing I noticed is the tag in the collar of the shirt doesn't scratch your neck. The material is also very soft and somewhat thick. The sizing on the shirt is somewhat fitted. I ordered a medium. It wasn't very tight but it wasn't loose. Something to keep in mind if you want a little room under it. Raising my hands does expose my wrists. It makes viewing your watch a bit easier but know that it won't hang over your hands when your arms are at your side. I tried out the shirt at my house and at a friends that tends to be a bit on the cooler size. I wore a undershirt and this and was very comfortable.

A little boxy, but perfect ski midlayer. I'm 6'1 190 lbs and the large fits well.
