Great belt
The belt is good. It keeps the pants up, which keeps the police away. I'm also able to get more done as there are far less screams from women in my general vicinity

Too stretchy
The belt is too stretchy and lets the pants slip down. When tight enough to not stretch too much, it is too tight. The best thing about this belt is that it does not set off the metal detector at the airport.

Neat belt, but not for everything

This belt is comfortable for day to day use as long as your pants have adequate belt loop size. Due to the shape of the male end of the belt, there are some pants that this just won't work on. For example, I've tried to weave it through my REI Saharan convertible pants and give up after the 2nd loop. The arrowhead shape gets hung easily on the narrow belt loops. The other place this belt comes up short for me is the inability to "lock it down". Due to my body shape, I need a belt to stay where I put it when backpacking as my hip belt pushes down on it significantly. This belts elasticity bites it in that scenario. Otherwise it's my go to for most days.

Love at first buckle...

I found this belt while searching for a belt that i could wear while backpacking. I wanted something that would keep my pants up but would not dig into my hips underneath the hip belt of my pack. This fits the bill to perfection. Not only does it accomplish the two criteria I needed, but the slight stretch adds much more to my comfort than I had anticipated. I have been a ride or die full-grain, veg-tan leather belt guy my whole life... but this thing make the waist of my standard issue US Air Force cargo pants feel like putting on my favorite sweats! I wish that was an exaggeration, because I do love the aesthetic of a thick, sturdy leather belt. However, this will now be the only belt I wear while backpacking.

Superb with a pack

I’ll begin by saying that I initially had some serious reservations over the price point on these, but I bought mine about 18 months ago and have logged in excess of 300 miles since then, with packs from #30-#85, typically in 8-15 mile chunks. This is by far the best thing that ever happened to using a pack with a good hip belt. The buckle just fits through the loops on 501s, so that is trivially fussy. No significant issues with any pants intended for use with a substantial belt, though if you typically carry anything heavier than a knife on your belt, you probably ought to spring for the extra $5 and get the beefier version. And no, the “microadjustability is not overblown; just make sure that you don’t leave any excess to create a wrinkle in the tag end, because that does need to be smoothed. It’s definitely not the only belt I use, but it’s the only one I wear with a pack.

Comfortable and functional

Be prepared to spend a few minutes on the initial adjustment. The belt fits very snugly in the buckle and requires a bit of wiggling to loosen or tighten. However, once that is done, the belt is secure and the extra material tucks away neatly without feeling bulky. I am 112 pounds and have no issues with the extra length.

Doesn't fit through belt loops.

Decent looking belt, but way too much effort to try to get it to fit through my standard-size belt loops. Literally, it was a struggle to get it through the belt loops. Also, more stretchy than I had anticipated.

Bad design

The male end of the clip is too big; it's difficult to get it through many belt loops (including the REI hiking shorts I bought at the same time), and even more difficult to pull it back through the other way when removing the belt. It's also difficult to adjust the belt tightness while wearing it, because the loose end sits underneath the main belt loop. A worthless belt designed by people who did not consider the most basic needs a belt ought to meet.

Expensive and not worth it

Large web does not fit most belt loops even on Levis, NorthFace, Wrangler, patagonia, Kuhl pants (thats what i tested)... Jeans, shorts, hiking pants and everything in between, the belt buckle is a struggle to get thru belt loops. material is durable and rugged but harsh and scratchy. Ive abandoned this belt for my Columbia belt that I bought when I was in 8th grade. Much better options on the market!!

Arcade Belts

Arcade belts are supreme. Already I have been spared hundreds of hours removing other belts before washing and replacing afterwards. Most of my looped clothes just get popped straight into the washer and after buying some of the belts when they first came out I have yet to toss one into the garbage as they seem to never wear out.
