Poor quality for the price, not the most comfortable runners. They don't have a lot of bounce. Even walking after awhile the hurt my feet. They tore up, I ran one time, a 5k, in addition I've probably walked less than 20k steps in them and they are tearing up at the seams. The photos Nike advertises with are slightly deceiving and makes them appear brighter and shinier or metallic. They are not. Just the Nike check mark is. My normal shoe size is 7.5. I can get away with an 8 in most Nikes since they are narrow and run small. These are 8s and my toes are nearly up to the edge. If I wanted to repurchase them I'd have to go up to an 8.5.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is kinda tricky. Initially putting on the shoe I was a bit disappointed by how tight the shoe fit on my foot. The upper is a very elastic netting which eventually stretches but if you have a wide foot I wouldn’t recommend. Although aesthetically the shoe is gorgeous I’m not sure if the look is worth the initial discomfort. Once I walked in them about 4-5 times the shoe began to give a little which makes it more bearable. Overall I’d give the shoe a 4 out of 5 simple due to the initial fit of the shoe. Besides that it’s a good shoe to either walk or run in. The only thing I’d change is the material of the upper.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance I liked the thick sole of the shoe which is what I look for in a running shoe. I put the shoe to the test by wearing them to a baseball game with a lot of walking. They seemed a little narrow at first, but the stretchy material on the top helps with that. There is a lot of support in the heal which is where a lot of my weight goes when standing, so I loved that. If I wear them for a full day on my feet, by the end of the day my toes do feel a little squished, but no other part of my foot hurts. Overall, I loved the comfort, but my feet may just be a little too wide to wear them for a full day. For running and not wearing them all day, they are awesome.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a pair of Nike running shoes before so wasn’t really sure what to expect. I was blown away with the comfort and support from these! Lots of arch support and you almost feel like these bounce you back up from the pavement! The upper material is a thin layer of mesh so these wouldn’t be the best in the rain but in the dry they are perfect! I have also used these in the gym and even to play squash in and I must say I am super impressed with the comfort and support these give. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a gym/running shoe and aren’t planning on running in the rain/wet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] React has been a strange midsole over the last few years in various shoes and I'm struggling with this version of it in the Infinity Run 4. The shoe feels lifeless and it's almost a chore to put miles into it. The upper is snug with the thinnest of socks, for anything over 3 to 4 miles you'd need half a size up. I found the upper tight around the ankle area once laced up and have had to loosen the laces on runs to try and alleviate this. The outsole makes a good sticky noise when you run like it's gripping the tarmac well but not sure this will hold up over a Scottish winter, will have to wait and see.
Nike destroyed this line. The infinity react 3 was a much better model. The 4s now have a narrower toe box, which I believe is the reason my feet go numb after about 4 miles into a run. The tread on the soles are already worn through in the heal and center after 170 miles. After a 6 mile run, I feel overly sore, like I do when my Brooks would be around 300 miles. My brooks glycerin 22s would get me about 350miles total before retiring them. I think 200 will be about all I get out of these. Other runners have told me, and now I have confirmed that Nikes are not very durable. I will be going back to Brooks.
Nike has did it again!! Love the new Infinity RN 4! This shoe is amazing. I have the first Infinity RN version and they were comfortable but these literally hug your feet. It's like it's surrounding by a pillow. The material is very durable but light weight and the ReactX sole is not too bulky. They do fit snug so either go with your regular size or size up I have a wide foot and the toe box is very comfortable. My size is 8.5. I loved 2 of the colorways so I picked up 2 pairs but worth the price. Can't wait for more colors to come in! By the way, the colorway listed as "velvet brown" on the white/bright crimson pair is really a matte black finish. Someone had a typo on the colorwheel. LOL!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I got the wrong size completely so can only review the look and feel of the shoes. The design is very neat and smart looking. Really nice materials on the upper that feel very premium and I imagine would hold up well in a range of weather conditions. Big fan of the little details aesthetically. The main tick is really nicely placed and not too large so as to distract from the silhouette. Looks and feels like there would be a good amount of ankle support especially given the size of the foam on the heel. Big fan of the edgyness and box looks of the heel foam but I imagine some people may not be. Sometimes Nike products have poor quality checks with glue marks etc but these looks tip top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly love these shoes! They are a little snug but I actually preferred that as I felt my feet were held in a really good position. I typically use arch supports but didn’t need them at all with these shoes. Wore them for a few runs and they were light and comfy, plus I found the material makes them breathable. However where these shoes really excelled for me was walking and when I was working on my feet for long periods of time. They have definitely become my go-to trainer as they’re super light and really cushioned. I also like the sleek design with the black, makes it very easy to make these an every day shoe. Really struggling to find a downside to these trainers as they’ve honestly been a game changer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, where do I start?! These trainers are brilliant. They’re comfortable with supportive cushioning so you can run smoother. The foam is said to give you 13% more engery compared to normal react’s, and I have to say I feel like I have a bounce in my step and have been much more comfortable for longer whilst running in these. The material means they’re also breathable, keeping my feel cooler. I have recently begun doing sprints again and these trainers have adapted well - I use them for long distance and sprints and they cope perfectly. It’s an added bonus that these trainers also have a reduced carbon footprint! 10/10 would recommend.
