Would buy these again in heartbeat
These boots are very functional, comfortable, and still stylish enough to wear when going from hiking to running errands in town with no time to stop in between. If there was anything I’d change, it would be great to have the side zipper just a touch longer to make it easier to slide into the boot. Love them and would absolutely purchase again.
Keen: do better
Runs really small, I’m normally an 8 and sized up to an 8.5 to account for wool socks and I could barely get my foot in with regular socks because it was so narrow. My boyfriend had to come pry the shoe off my foot it was so tight. I sized up to a 9.5 and they fit but I still wouldn’t recommend them because they don’t have ANY support. I wore them once and my feet ached. I expected better of keen and shouldn’t have to buy inserts at that price point. One star for being cute and warm.
Winter essential
I live in an area that sees subzero temperatures for long periods of time. We see months of the year where the temperature hovers near zero. These boots are so warm and comfortable it makes being outside in the cold, snow and ice tolerable! The footbed is comfortable and warm. The traction is very secure on snow covered, ice covered and uneven trails, walkways and pavement. They’re also deceptively light! I like that these boots are tall, they help keep my calves warm. The zipper closure is a great feature too. Once I adjusted the laces to where it’s comfortable I never had to readjust them, just zip and go! It makes the boots easy to get into and out of. Once out in the elements I found that exterior of the boot was probably an unsung hero…. tough and very protective! With that said, this is a great boot!!
Best yardwork & dog park boots I've ever owned
After a few weeks, these boots are awesome. Comfortable (with my regular inserts) so I can spend hours trekking around with the weed eater or at the dog park. I predict they'll keep my feet warm on winter dog park outings, which is very important to me. I just sprayed them off with the hose and my feet didn't get a bit wet. Tall enough to cover the bottom of my pants so ticks don't get me. Thank you for making my dream boots!!
Excellent Mid-Boot
I was looking for a comfortable mid-tall boot for light trail hiking through damp grassy areas. This boot fits great and is padded in all the right places to prevent any chaffing/blisters from the get go. Good tread and foot/ankle support. Ample toe box. I love the zipper for easy on/off. Seems well-made so I’m looking for years of use like I’ve come to expect from Keen. Thanks for developing another great boot!
Favorites
These have been my most favorite boots in winter and when it’s raining. I adore them too plaid pattern and the red leather color. This is my second pair (ann emergency back up really) and I’ll keep getting them as long as they’re made! The tread lasts a huge long time. As with any Keen, it’s always smart to go up 1 size and they’ll fit you perfectly. Highly and lovingly recommend these.

I love this boot, this is the first time I’ve gotten the black ones and while different in look with the puffy sides as opposed to the plaid, I love them too. Highly recommend them if you’re on a trail in winter, rain or snow. They keep your feet warm and dry and grab on well to wet dirt paths and rocks. As with almost all Keens, go a size up and they’ll fit you perfectly.
I love these boots!
I love these boots! Wore them in Sweden in February in the snow and on icy sidewalks. They were comfortable and warm. I'm a 9, but got a 9.5 mainly because the six previous boots that I'd tried from other companies all ran small. It was a perfect fit. Glad I finally found a good boot. Love the side zipper for easy in and out and the laces to tighten the boot up.
GREAT BOOTS
Love these boots very comfortable. Have several Keen Boots. Only issue is I wish the laces were longer. Every pair I own with laces need a little longer laces BUT I still love my Keen boots. Very well made. Other pair like this are 12 years old & still in great shape. Foot has just gone up half a size. Highly recommend Keen!!
Perfect for snow and ice!
I live in a rural area without good places to walk in the winter except gravel roads that get hard packed with snow and ice. These boots are AMAZING for traction on those conditions. No slipping or sliding and I can get a great walk in. They are comfortable and keep my feet nice and warm - even in below zero temperatures.
