SO SOFT!

Great super soft that stayed dry after a few days in the snow. Love the wrist band features that ensures gloves won't be lost when you take them off on a chair lift. The inside of the mitten has glove fingers, which I was worried might not keep my hands as warm, but they ended up being toasty enough for me! If your hands get REALLY cold these might not be for you and the fingers are separated and you therefore can't carry hand warmers in the gloves (and there isn't a pocket for them).

An almost perfect mitten

I have Raynaud's syndrome and my hands are always freezing, so I like to wear mittens over gloves for everything, driving, biking, walking the dog, etc. in the cold. These mittens were great at keeping my hands warm and dry in the damp weather (30-40°F) with minimal loss of functionality (except for that you only have a free thumb). The elastic band attached to a leash is perfect though, comfortable and flexible, easy to take off the mittens and not have to worry about losing them. This is key on a ski lift! The elastic band is much better than just the usual adjustable strap. Inside the mitten is a super soft lining with individual finger slots with plenty of room for thin liners if super cold. The inside stayed AMAZINGLY dry even when my hands were sweaty or wet, and it was damp outside. I never felt anything like it. This is their best feature. Style: these mittens are rugged on the outside but with excellent flexibility right away - holding my ski poles was easy. The suede thumb is great addition for wiping your goggles (and nose). Make sure to measure your hand and check the sizing; I am small in other gloves/mittens but the medium was a perfect fit for comfort and dexterity. Note, these gloves do not have a pocket or space for handwarmers. I also wish they had a more flexible wrist opening because they are a little hard to get on over my watch but under my jacket sleeve, the Velcro strap gets in the way. So once they were on and situated I didn’t want to take off the left one. Otherwise no complaints here. Overall, a great ski and outdoor mitten that I will be using a lot this season. Very happy with them so far!

My new favorites!

Gloves performed great in the mountains. It was cold and windy! These gloves kept me dry and warm. With individual fleece lined finger pockets inside the gloves, all the fingers stayed toasty. In the snow, the soft leather kept my goggles clear and the elastic wrist bands took out any fear or risk of loosing one. Definitely looking forward to continuing to use these gloves as they are my new favorite winter wear!

Warmest I've ever had!

These might be the warmest gloves I’ve ever worn. I usually prefer gloves to mittens, but the finger segments inside make them feel and act more like gloves but with the added warmth of mittens. The inside fabric is super soft and warms up quickly. The outer layer feels durable and is reinforced in all the right places for my ski pole grip. They’ve put padding over the knuckles, which provides protection (maybe for backcountry skiing?) but makes them feel like I could swap them for my MMA gloves; an unusual feature but not a dealbreaker. There’s also a soft-sueded patch on each thumb for taking care of my obligatory cold air-induced runny nose. The wrist strap/leash feature is an unexpected surprise. It seemed odd at first, but it allows me to take off the gloves when I get too warm or need to use my hands without worry about losing one. Overall, these are supremely warm mitts that might just fully convert me away from gloves.

A slow burn

When I first purchased a pair of these it took me a little while to really fall in love with them. They are made well so at first them seem a little stiff, however give it a season and they will become your favorites. Once they are broken in they last for a long time and are very warm and comfortable. I say a “slow burn” because at first you’ll think they are pretty good, but when the day comes to retire them you’ll buy two more pairs. At least I did.

Straight to the Alps

We used them in our first ski trip to the Alps. Really warm and comfy. We hit -15 on the alpine parts with no issue. Really recommend them for a ski holiday.
