Gloves perform well, cuff is annoying

Received free product

I like a lot of things about these gloves. I like the look of the outside. The inside is soft and very comfortable. It hasn't been terribly cold in Wisconsin since I got these, but the times that I have worn them, they kept my hands very warm. The wrist loops are comfortable and functional. Overall, the performance is great. However, the cuff on the gloves is an awkward size, and it makes them really hard to wear. It conflicts with my smartwatch, which I wear every day. It's very difficult to put the gloves on without the cuff pushing on the watch. I prefer a glove with either a bigger or smaller cuff opening, so that it works better with my daily accessory.

Soft and durable winter gloves for any occasion

Received free product

Incredibly durable and supple the outer goat leather layer makes for an excellent glove no matter the outdoor activity. The insulation does indeed keep your hands warm even when worn in sub-freezing temps and when managing slushy snow the waterproof layer kept my hands dry. One note width wise these are snug so if you are on the cusp of sizes like me (small and medium) size up.

Great Winter Gloves

Received free product

These gloves are so warm! I have large hands and long fingers, most gloves aren't long enough, these are! My only complaint is that the size Large was a little narrow for my hand. I think the heavy lining will pack down however and become the perfect, warm fit!

Solid gloves

Received free product

I generally like Black Diamond gloves and these were no exception. I'm on the cusp between M and L and got these in an L. The fingers were a little long on me as expected but fit my palms quite well. Easy to get on and off too. I liked the wrist straps; nice and stretchy, easy to get on/off, and are generally unobtrusive. And when I pulled the gloves off, the wrist straps managed to wrap themselves around the glove so that nothing was dangling. Probably just a coincidence but it happened a few times and was a nice touch. I've only used the gloves a couple times so far, once in 29F dry conditions for some light snowshoeing and another in moderate, wet snowfall for some skiing. With mild exertion I found them a little warm for 29F; I probably won't use them in temperatures higher than that. I was very happy that these gloves kept the wetness at bay during a snowstorm. It was only for 3 hours but my fingers were still bone dry inside while the rest of me was caked in snow. For a Pacific Northwe[s]t skier I really appreciated the waterproofing. 4 stars instead of 5 only because of fit (and I am on the cusp of sizes). Would definitely recommend these if you have longer fingers or if you can try them on. The cuff is a bit thick for an undercuff glove but not a huge deal.

Hard to get on

Very small at wrist so hard to get on. Once on they run try to size. There is an elastic gusset but it didn’t help much. I can wear kids gloves so unless you have very thin hands these may be tough.

Toasty warm

Lovely and warm, good grips for belaying while ice climbing, or back country skiing (or even being out on my daily walk. Fits a bit small.

Nice fit & seem warm

I haven’t had a chance to use these gloves yet. They fit well out of the bag & appear to be of great quality.
