Quality, cozy gloves with helpful features.
First, I ordered a small as I have smaller hands and these gloves are on the snug side. Not too bad but i would caution anyone to read the size chart closely. These gloves are insanely soft and cozy on the inside. They are a bit stiff but it feels like that they will soften over time. I love the wristbands which solve the problem of holding gloves in my teeth or dropping them as I readjust gear. And the orange goretex wrists are perfect for spotting these if you do drop them. Let’s not forget the attention to detail, a suede patch on each thumb for wiping the lens of your goggles off instead of just smearing water everywhere. These gloves are definitely a step up from any other I’ve owned in the past and I look forward to getting years of use out of them.
Great quality ski glove for serious skiers
Pros: - Great quality leather and thick. These gloves feel really well constructed - The leather held up in the snow and did not get wet. This might change with more regular wear but I'm confident it'll hold up with care - Nice wrist and knuckle padding/guards- great for more competitive skiing - Fit true to size! - Wrist straps (must-have) - Warm in ~20 degrees F Cons: - The wrist is very tight and makes it difficult to take off/put on while on the move. I wish the wrist was wider like most other gloves and mittens to accommodate a watch and layers more easily. - The gloves are pretty stiff to break in at first (but soften up after a wear!) Overall I recommend these gloves but take caution if you have big wrists or big watches, or like loose gloves.
Legit glove, tight fitting, needs breaking in!
I received these gloves as part of the Trailblazer's program and had wanted to wear them snowboarding or snowshoeing for a review, but due to lack of snowfall our mountains still haven't opened! I was instead able to take them outside a few times in 20-30 degree weather. To start, I really enjoyed the colorway and didn't think I was going to. They are actually a nice neutral and can go with many different jacket and pant colors. The cuff is kind of a sunset orange/red color and made of neoprene, which is nice and slick. The glove portion is full leather and very stiff, so be prepared to take time breaking these in. Pulling them on was somewhat difficult as they are a more tight and fitted style, and I have fairly long slender hands and fingers. I had to use some muscle to pull them on but once on, they fit well and were very soft on the inside. I will say, I normally wear an XS and was only able to order a Small in these and even those were tight fitting on me. I'm not sure I could have gotten the XS pulled over my hands but I bet the finger length may have been better on that size. The fingers were about 1/2" too long, but pretty much all gloves do that to me. There is a nice wrist cuff you can wear so you don't lose these on the ski lift. On the thumb of the glove is a soft suede material - nice for wiping a runny nose when it's cold out:) Bottom line, I would recommend these but definitely consider how stiff they are and be prepared to break them in and have the strength to pull them on.
Well made, cold weather gloves.
Very warm and durable gloves for cold weather adventures. The combination of leather and Gore-Tex make these my favorite gloves how hiking or skiing. The wrist straps make it great for use because regardless of what any glove promises, I haven’t had any that I can actually buckle boots, use my phone or tie my shoes with on. There are too bulky to perform any type of fine motor skills but the wrist strap means you can just take them off and let them dangle. Huge! They look a little bulky on but they do the job well.
Love these
I had an older pair of goat leather black diamond gloves and I loved them for warmer resort days and cold weather outdoor working. These carry a bit more insulation than my old ones, which I was hoping for. I love black diamond gloves...I sized down (usually a women's large in other brands, went with a medium based on size chart) after re-measuring my hand and it fits perfectly...
Warmth and cozy
Bought these for my mom that runs with cold hands and she loved them
