Neck: Around the fullest part of the neck, at the base.
Chest: Around the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: From the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hip: Around the widest point of the hips.
Inseam: From the crotch to the anklebone on the inside of the leg.

Light and warm
This jacket worked well for me in colder temperatures. I had no problem with temperature down to 15 degrees. The material held up well even when brushing against rocks and ice. It worked great for my trip in the Tetons mountains. I did have a little bit of the filling come out at the stitching at first but not enough to be concerned. It packed nicely in to the its pocket but I didn’t like how hard it was to zip up when in the pocket. I also didn’t find a way to clip it to anything when it was packed up. The hood was great and fit over my helmet with no problem. Ultimately it is a lightweight super warm jacket.
Incredible quality and warmth
I have owned a number of down hoodies; this is by far the most impressive! The first thing I noticed is how little this weighs, it's very light. Despite the lightness this hoodie is *very* warm, even in moderate wind. I wore this with a t-shirt while doing trail maintenance in 20 degree F weather and had to unzip it and take off the hood because I was almost too warm. Besides the lightness and the warmth, the next thing I noticed was the quality. The down is evenly distributed with no cold spots. The stitching is well done and I didn't have any feathers leaking. The ends of the sleeves have light elastic to help keep them on your wrists or gloves. The bottom of the hoodie has a cinch cord which is handy for keeping snow out. The hoodie packs nicely into one of the pockets and zips up well. Overall this is a do-anything down hoodie that is perfect for a winter hike or climb, but equally suited for walks in the woods or around town.
New go-to puffy
Added this BD puffy to the handful that I own and it is quickly becoming my new go-to. I’ve been in SE Asia + Korea for a couple of weeks. I didn’t need to pull it out and haven’t needed it until the second half of the trip when I transitioned from temps in the mid-eighties down to the mid-twenties. Because I chose to carry-on all my gear for the trip, packability and warmth were both key. Through sightseeing, several hikes, and general everyday wear it was plenty warm and comfortable; bonus points for the fact that looks great. I’m 5’9”, 175lbs, and chose a Medium which is perfect and still leaves room for a layer or two. I like the choice of material and design of the cuff; a little detail that makes a huge difference to the comfort of this coat vs others I own. The DWR coating is solid and kept the coat dry in the rain, and the fact that it is made of RDS certified down is a huge plus. I can already tell this will end up being my new go-to and I am looking forward to adding it to my backcountry kit when i get back to the PNW.

As I wrote in this last product review, maybe 8 weeks ago I have just perched this in mid summer. I plan to ware it when its gets colder outside. Thought I may have a better idea of it. It is very light and seems to be will made, witch I expected from Black Diamond. Ask me again in March.
