Goldilocks of balaclava hats- thick&warm yet can be layered
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the best balaclava hat I've found in years. I love it that it's not too thick and not too thin. It's thick and warm enough to actually serve as a hat in cold weather yet it's thin enough to be layered underneath a cute hat on VERY cold weather. I like it that it's very snug around the face. I wish it were a bit stretchier so a kid can pull it down like a gaiter when indoors but I guess that's why it's so snug around the face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great! We got it for my 2.5 year old to wear under his bike helmet. His head is 20", if that's helpful for other potential buyers. I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to pull the lower part down under his chin, but that's no problem. Also, for what it's worth, the balaclava is stretchy enough to fit my adult sized head comfortably, so I'm sure we'll have this thing forever. It's great quality and very warm.
