Hands down great gloves.
I own several pairs of OR gloves and mitts, I needed a cold weather work glove with good dexterity, I would say hands down these are a super solid glove for most any outdoor pursuit or a walk from the car to the mall. #or
Too Tight & Poorly Proportioned
Unfortunately, another pair of gloves from OR with poor fit and odd proportions. I've worn men's medium size gloves for >20 years, and this pair is the first that's so tight they're almost uncomfortable with a relaxed grip (they're pre-curved gloves, so that's not gripping anything and not straight). Straightening the fingers is uncomfortable, because there's not enough material in the palm (which is 'okay', since you're more likely to use them to with a relaxed grip or gripping poles, ice axes, etc). Actually gripping something, however, is very uncomfortable to me, because there's not enough material in the back of the hand and there's a LOT of stiff pinky-side padding, the combination of which causes my pinky and the ulnar side of my hand to be firmly compressed when gripping. Basically, if I'm gripping something less than about the diameter of a cucumber, then it's very uncomfortable. Part of me might want to size up to see if they'd fit better, but the correct size for my hand already has too much length in the index and ring fingers (the middle & pinky fingers are too short, btw).
Dexterity for ropework and room for a light wool liner.
This is the best looking and warmest version of usable rope gloves that I have found for recreational and tactical climbing applications. The leather is in all of the right places and the other materials are durable/considerably weatherproof.
Good hunting glove
I’m on my second pair of Extravert gloves bc they’re my favorite for cold weather hunting in AK. Best glove I’ve found for handling a shotgun and shells while upland hunting when it’s well below freezing.
Quality glove.
Quality and surprisingly warm. An easy recommend if you are looking for a new pair. Have played with them over the last week in single digit and teens temperatures. Comfortable. No complaints.
The gloves are well made and are very comfortable. They have held up so far in my activities on the range.
