Been looking for something like this for years

I have a hybrid with bar ends but they're not nearly as comfortable as drop bars or bull horns, especially tyring to mimic the hoods/ramps positions. Apparently the shifters wouldn't be able to make the curve if I tried to install bull horns so I was out of luck. I searched a bit for different bar ends and saw these. They are perfect. Even better, they were available at REI. Every so often you find the exact product you wish existed. Easy to install and adjust. The rubber is a little harder than my old grips (including the padded grip tape on the bar ends) but the hand positions are everything I want/need.
