Comfortable, get-you-out-there, do-it-all jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have heard great things about Arc'teryx's Atom LT. I have been a long-time fan of the Atom SL, a piece I use every day. However, in some outings, especially late fall winter, or early spring, the SL isn't warm enough. The Atom LT comes in for those chilly belay or cold bouldering outings where I just need a little more. Arc'teryx's Coreloft insulation is just right: it regulates temperature when I start building up heat but dispenses it so I'm not sweating through. The LT fits nicely under a shell in case the weather heads south but as a stand-alone piece, it's great. Even after some hard abuse, the jacket stands up. I wish I had one earlier.

Awesome Jacket the Best Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my Fifth Atom product I now have three jackets and two Gillets in different colours. You wont find a more versatile pice of clothing, I wear mine all year and never get too hot and never too cold. The quality of craftsmanship is second to none, every seam is well made and strong. Comfort is also outstanding and with the stretch panels in the sides makes for a comfortable experience. I have washed my older versions many many times and if you just spin and hang they come out like new every time and dry very quickly. I absolutely love my Atoms they are my go to every time. try one you wont be disappointed. Thanks Mark

Everyone should have one of these at least once

What an amazing mid layer, turns out to be way more versatile then I had originally though. Because it is so comfortable, I wear it as a daily coat to run errands. It transitions so well from cold car to warm store. I have also worn it under my sports jacket to get that nice protection on that chilly train platform. But most importantly, it’s a perfect compliment to my Beta AR hard shell or Hellium soft shell. I still prefer a fleece mid like a Kynite for more active hikes but the Atom is spot on for those colder days. Huge thanks to Adrian at Square One store for helping me pick the right type and size.

Ultimate Comfort and Warmth in One Jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, the atom jacket is the most comfortable and warmest jacket I’ve ever owned! The design without a hood makes it incredibly versatile—I can wear it as an outer jacket on mild days or as a cozy mid-layer in colder weather. The range of ways I can use it is truly impressive! I love how it works for so many occasions. I've worn it on chilly morning walks, layered it when the temps drop, and even kept it on indoors for that extra bit of cozy warmth. It’s warm without being bulky, and it feels like a soft, wearable blanket. Definitely one of my best buys for staying warm and comfy!

very lightweight, perfect layering piece

I really didn't want to like this jacket- pretty expensive for a lightweight shell, right? Turns out, I *love* it and zero thought of returning. It's remarkably lightweight but warm even so. Doesn't swish. Hits just at the right spot at my hip (5'11" / average build). Stuff stays in the pockets. Looks nice. I use it as the outer layer in PNW style winter layering. Something wool or base layer on the inside, a fleecy type thing over that, and this light jacket on top. Very comfortable warm w/o being sweaty and no sense of the wind cutting through at all. Definitely recommended.

Good active wear piece for cool weather.

I wanted this for hiking in cool/cold weather and so far it's been good. Warm once moving and breathes well. The side panels help dump heat, but I haven't noticed any issues with being cold there or with the wind cutting through. Been using it in around 0 C so far with a very light fleece, definitely able to go lower with a thicker layer and/or more activity. Layers perfectly under a Beta. Overall I'm happy with the Atom but the zippers on the pockets could use some improvement as they often catch on the pocket liner or just generally jam up. Minor but still could be improved.

I love this jacket!

One of the key pieces for all my adventures. I love it so much I bought one for the city and also the Atom light (fyi atom light fits a little snugger). Surprisingly warm for the weight. Also breaths well and packs down nicely.

Disappointed with color but a great jacket

Extremely comfortable, lightweight and warm jacket which is lightly insulated. Good quality. However, the jacket color was labeled "black"; however, it actually is a deep navy blue which is moderately disappointing. Since I've worn the jacket several times, I'll keep it as it seems unfair to return a worn jacket. Watch the color carefully.

Light but starting to get less warm.

I’ve just weighted both of these and subtracted the hood. Did we lose a lot of coreloft between 2019 and 2023?
