Damaged valve stems, gauge not accurate

Tires went flat within minutes after using the pump. Removing the pump head allowed too much air out, resulting in pressure 10 psi below what it was inflated to (checked with SKS digital gauge). Gauge is easy to read, but at this price, it's not worth losing that much pressure, and I can't trust it after causing my tires to go flat. I've already returned it.

Best low pressure floor pump

Best pump I've owned (and I've owned at least 30). Works great for low pressure mountain and gravel tires to really dial in the pressure accurately. The chick is great for Presta Valves. It supposedly can convert to Schrader, but I haven't looked at how to do that (not totally obvious and not really needed for most of my bikes).

Disappointing

Very disappointing to see how the quality has gone down for Silva in the past 15 years (the last time I bought a pump). Silva used to be synonymous with quality. Indestructible materials- everything was steel. Now it is obviously cheap aluminum and frankly feels like a toy compared to what they were. For the price you’d expect more. This is worth the same as any other mid grade pump, no more.

Great Pump

After 2 weeks, I’m happy and impressed. The pump works great. It latches onto the valve stems easily and securely, with no air leaks. It takes under 5 seconds to switch from Schrader to Presta or back. The pressure gauge gives readings right in line with my Park tool inflator and my electric inflator. No problems.

Worth it

Got this pump as a bit of a splurge and it was worth it! Super nice build quality, solid connection. It doesn’t look like a high volume pump but works great for mountain bike tires, faster than other floor pumps I have owned.

A really nice pump, but not perfect.

Good pump, but still liked my Specialized better. Plastic parts make it light, but curious how well it will stand up over time. Thin lever to attach to the valve stem is tough to lock, a wider handle might work better.

Great quality, fair price

So far so good. Really like the big gauge. Valve stem adapter can be a little tough to install but nothing major. Overall great quality. Happy with purchase!
