Who knew bike trailers were so cool!!
Awesome little trailer. Pulls really well. Super intuitive to use and easy to break down. Well built and ready to roll out of the box, with axle adapter. Super steady when loaded properly. Kickstand work great. Highly recommended and the best option for any bikepacking adventure. No matter road, gravel or singletrack I would take the Coho xc.
nice trailer, but not what i had expected
his trailer is really nice. well thought out and functions great. my only issue is before buying the trailer a watched and read a lot of reviews online which helped determine my decision to buy the trailer. In almost all the reviews people would tout the abundance of bottle bosses in the frame for mounting. I found this very appealing. Well, the trailer i received had no bosses in the top side bars.I'm guessing the trailer had about 1/2 the mount points others touted. Cost cutting reductions? faulty unit? whatever the reason, i am bummed. I ended up threading my own mounts in the upper bars and so far they are working fine.

my new bestie
This trailer Rocks and Rolls!!! I got all the add-ons and I'm going on a 2 week gravel bike camping trip this spring and I cant wait to use it for that! I've had it for a year and I use it for trips to do laundry, grocery shopping, short overnight bike camping trips and running errands around town. Always get asked questions about it and I am always happy to answer them with very positive comments. I wished I would have bought an extra QR for my other bike since Burley seams to always out of stock. ill post some photos soon!!! Great trailer, well built and so easy to use and it packs nicely in my VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI
Sweet !!!!
Just got the trailer at my front door step. Out of the box, even not assembled, you can see the design and quality of manufacture in this product. I’m so itching to use it, but just waiting for the 12x1.0 148mm thru axle ordered from Burley plus the upgraded MTB tire for the trailer. This will definitely get used for lots of items. Already have signed up with the local D&L Rail Trail to be a Trail Tender and I’ve got a gig for work set up mid September. In addition will be using it for bike camping starting next year. Soon as I have pictures for your staff I’ll be emailing you. Thanks for the great product.
Recommend!
The Coho is very well built! I'm happy with the quality. I wish when ordering, they gave the option for which tire to receive with the unit. But, whatever. Not a big deal. It pulls well, slightly noisy while using it. I notice the pannier bags are a bit low, so if riding roads close to curbs, it will rub. And burn a hole in the side or bottom. Also, at fast speeds like going down hills, it gets very sketchy when loaded! Their speed recommendation is encouraged! It will bounce you around a good bit. And make you feel unstable. I would recommend this product, with all that in mind! And, would buy again!
Reluctant purchase made made good
On the outset We didn’t want to buy a new trailer. We own two BOBs which my wife and I took down the great divide prekids. The BOB just works but attaching it to a modern bike takes time and effort I would rather put into riding. Turns out the CoHo just works better. The one hand attachment and kickstand is a great addition and it tracks just as well. The thing that is the best improvement is the attachment is a tighter fit so there is less slop which gives you better control but is also quite. BOB always sounded like some bolt was half a turn away from disaster with a rattle you get used to. I read that it is heavier but I’ve never noticed the weight. All and all we are pleased with the CoHo
Favorite new trailer!
I've been carrying my dog for years with the Burley Tail Wagon, which I have loved. I switched to the Coho XC to be able to travel more easily with my dog (about 40lbs) on trails. The single wheel, suspension in the rear, and easy in-and-out access for him is making a huge difference in our adventures and commutes on the wooded and rooty trails of New England. The kickstand also helps us both mount and dismount without worrying about the stability of the whole rig or finding a long enough wall to lean it against. It's also incredibly easy to pack up and store! We're both very happy.
I LOVE MY BURLEY COHO!!!!!!!
Amazing trailer! My Burley Coho is ready for anything! Even loaded down, I seem to forget that it's behind my bike. Built like a tank, easily folded for travel, many options for customization, and the Coho just plain looks great. Definitely worth the price!!!!
Burley Coho XC Cargo trailer
Love the Burley Coho XC trailer. I use the trailer for MTB trail maintenance and trail building. Trailer works great in the trails carrying all kinds of Tools including chain saws and/or buckets full of rocks. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because I would have preferred to have the choice of ordering a trailer with 3” MTB wheel. Now I have to purchase an additional wheel and hang on to the original road wheel I have no use for. Other then that, great trailer tracks great and follows the bike through twisty single track while being loaded down with tools flawlessly.
