Very comfortable and very wet feet.
I bought one pair for my older son, loved how comfortable they were, so I bought a pair for my younger son. Other than them being comfortable, worst purchase ever. They are not waterproof. After less than an hour in the snow, they are soaking wet. It’s dangerous for kids to have cold wet feet. I unfortunately only brought these boots on winter vacation with us and have spent too much time everyday drying them with a hairdryer so they can go out again.
Perfect cold weather boots
I am so grateful for these boots!! We live in Alaska and have a lot of negative degree weather in the winter. My 3yr old and 6 yr old (the big kid version) wear these and they’re so amazing. Easy to get on and tuck their snow stuff over or into, warm, and not bulky like so many winter boots are. I hope Merrill never stops making these!
Awesome boots!
Great boot! Daughter loves them and even wears them for spring hiking! I wish they had adult sizes! Easy to get on and off, not one complaint of cold or wet feet!
Best toddler winter boots!
Honestly love these boots for my toddler. The toe box isn't as wide as I'd like but they are wider than your average boot. They are nice and tall which kept rain, mud, and snow out of his boots and keep his feet super warm too! VERY happy with these boots. Just wish they weren't so pricy. But you get what you pay for because they are quality. Also, these boots aren't bulky! I hate how big and bulky winter boots for kids can be. These are very flat and slim so my toddler isn't tripping over his shoes.
Runs small & narrow. Very stiff.
These run extremely small and narrow. I bought my son a size 7 (he’s currently a size 6). I could barely get these on him. I compared them to his Stride Rite sneakers (6) — the are the same size. Also, the calf area is small. My son has chunky toddler calves and I couldn’t even close the velcro. As others mentioned, they are also very stiff. All that said, I really like the look so I’m still debating if I want to size up to an 8 or just return them.
Would Not Recommend
I bought a pair of these boots for each or my kids. I won’t be buying them again. Everyday, they both come home with wet feet. In the future I’ll get a style that has a full rubber foot. Disappointingly, the winter is half over and I’ll have to purchase new boots to get my kids through until spring.
Great kids boots
Love love love these boots for my kids, they're less heavy than a lot of kids boots out there. Colour selections were really limited, I hope they bring back some of the colours they've had in past years.
Great boots
Performed very well! My 3 yo wore these in Breckenridge CO and didn’t seem cold at all. They also doubled as her snowboarding boots and did well in that as well.
Light weight and cozy
Comfy boots for my toddler grandson. A boy who loves to run and use a balance bike - these boots are a cozy addition to his winter wardrobe.
No room for toe wiggling
Seems like a good snow shoe but it runs very narrow. I like for my kids to have room to wiggle their toes freely.
