I have several Patagonia jackets and sweaters that fit perfectly. However, something is seriously OFF with the sizing of this product! . This jacket runs two sizes small on the bottom portion and is HUGE on the top and the sleeves 3 inches longer than other Patagonia items I own. I have ordered 3 of these all in Medium or Large (I’m 5’8 and 150) and they were all horrible. When I returned my last effort today, the guy at the cash register mentioned he said the same problem in this version in Men’s! A first Patagonia product fail. Sad.
Patagonia jackets can sometimes be too straight for my curvy body, but this one was perfect and fit around my hips with no issues. My first thought was how cozy it was- there’s a really soft lining in the pockets, at the wrists, and at the neck. It’s like wearing a blanket. I haven’t worn it in super cold temps yet but it’s a Patagonia so I know I’m in good hands. It was a bonus that the nocturnal blue was on sale as I’ve been eyeing this color for years.
I was unsure about this jacket since I was thinking of getting the Nano Puff. I'm happy about my purchase. This jacket is a little puffier than the Nano I think but quite warm and has more room in the hips than other Patagonia jackets I've tried. I love the outer zip pocket on the upper left side of the jacket. Now I don't have to unzip my jacket in the cold to retrieve my keys or phone. I would definitely recommend this jacket.
This jacket is a bit bulky, material is not noisy. The main problem is the cut/fit. the small size is good length but the shoulders are roomy and the waist/breast tight. Arm length is ok. Color is great. Returned.
Comfortable, warm and stylish jacket. Very nice quality just as you would expect from Patagonia.
Patagonia didn't disappoint. I love the dark blue color, the fit, and the right amount of warmth. I like the extra chest pocket to put small items. The collar is a bit stiff, not laying down as well as I'd like, but I'm very happy overall and it is my go to jacket.
