Comfy - Flexible - Durable

I work at an outdoor education camp and sustainability farm. I spend a great deal outside on my feet. I put these shoes on and I immediately felt supported. I like the look of the shoe - the bottom had purple bottoms, and it just so happens that purple is one of my favorite colors. I didn't want to get them dirty because I really enjoyed the look. I worked in these shoes for the duration of the day. I'm still breaking them in, but I can tell that they are going to provide a great deal of comfort and support. I feel trail runners and hiking shoes are a great way to take care of your feet if you're on them all day. This pair is going to be right next to my door for all my early mornings. I would recommend you get a pair if you have a lot of outdoor activity, or if you're even just looking for support.

Super comfy trail runners (all around) shoes.

Most comfortable trail running shoes!! These will replace my backpacking shoes! The upper area that comes in contact with your ankle is made of a soft, neoprene like material that make these feel super soft. The midsole is also bouncy saving your knees and they look cool!

Super Comfortable Hiking Shoe!

I planned a section hike on the AT in NC from Franklin to the NOC and just got these Adidas Terrex Free Hiker Gore-Tex 2.0 Low Hiking Shoes for men do it was perfect timing to try them out. What I like about them is there Boost inner sole, your feet are perfectly cushioned in comfort, yet they actually give you a boost with every step you take pushing you feet back firmly with every step. They are very well made to protect your feet from rocks, roots and stumps with substantial toe box, heels and sides with heavy duty materials which will also protect the shoe for longer trail life. After walking through several low mountain streams my feet stayed dry due to the Gore-Tex uppers and they let air in so the breathe as well. The only thing I could say any thing about them negative was the weight compared to trail runners, but the benefits far outweighed this issue with foot protection, durability and comfort for true hiking. After 4 days of climbing several 4k to 5k elevation mountains my feet have never been this comfortable and I just love these hiking shoes!

Fantastic hiking / trail shoes

I received these products for free from REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. I used these shoes for a hike along with some regular day activities. These shoes have many positive attributes compared to many other similar shoes I have tried the past 4-5 years. They have great cushion, the soles are very sticky for wet conditions and the toe box has ample room. While it wasn’t raining when I hiked the shoe feels like it will be waterproof. The shoe laces allow for a tight fit and the tongue makes a tight fit and is very comfortable. Overall this shoe seems superior to a few other brands I have used recently.

Outstanding Hiking Shoe for All

The first thing you notice about the shoe are the materials and the construction. Both are of superb quality. The gore-tex outer is exceptional and I can attest to them working exactly as you would want them to. Any fear of them being too hot or warm were dispelled. The overall fit is outstanding as the shoe really conforms to the foot and has excellent cushioning. The sole is made of rubber from Continental and it provides reliable traction on any surface. While the shoes themselves are not cheap, the only potential concern with this shoe is the exposed midsole which could wear out, but otherwise, this is absolute tops when it comes to technical hiking boot that is low profile.

Great fit, great support, great shoes.

These are fantastic sneakers! I haven't been able to take them off since I got them. They fit right out of the box without a break-in period, and yet were still sturdy and supportive. They run true to size (I'm a men's size 9). The soles hit the sweet spot enabling me to wear them for trailing running, hiking on mixed rocky/forested terrain with steep inclines, and walking around San Francisco, where I live. The soles have deep grooves and "flare out" a little bit at the sides, which is great for traction and stability. But they also are sturdy and flexible and not clunky. They're surprisingly light. They have traditional laces, which I prefer to bungee cinches which can stretch out over time and get caught on twigs and tumbleweeds. I think laces give a better fit overall, especially if you have a narrow heel. Also, I liked that the toe box was roomy but not too big and I was able to wear orthotic inserts without any problem. The only thing I don't love may be a benefit to other folks - because the sneakers are Gortex, my feet hot and sweaty on a day hike as well as when I wore them to the gym. I switched to light socks for these activities and that seems to have helped. I'm also not a fan of the light gray color but I think it is reflective. That said, Adidas knocked it out of the park with these shoes and I love them.

Ultra comfy

Very comfortable shoes! I've worn these rucking, hiking, backpacking, and also to the office. I haven't detected any pinch spots and there was virtually no break in period required. I have high arches and these shoes offer very comfortable support. It feels like walkinv on pillows.

The best shoes for hiking and walking.

Excellent cushioning and support decrease fatigue during lengthy walks and climbs in the shoes. My feet stay comfy after hours of use because of the ergonomic design, minimizing blisters. Waterproof material shifts the game. Whether hiking through mud or in an unexpected shower, it keeps my feet dry. Wet feet can cause chafing and freezing; this function is helpful. High-quality materials make the shoes durable on rugged terrain. This durability keeps them in good shape despite regular use, adding value. Hiking on uneven or slippery ground requires an excellent sole grip. Knowing I have a lower slip risk on challenging trails gives me confidence.

Not as comfortable as previous iteration.

I had a pair of these shoes in black and white. I loved them - they were super comfortable and looked great. But the frayed at the ankle and I reluctantly returned them. I couldn’t reorder as they had run out. I ordered this latest version this week and I couldn’t even wear them all night in the house, let alone on a hike. The right foot was ok, although much stiffer than the last pair I had so not as comfortable. The left shoe was poorly constructed - lump at the heel which would have caused me a blister and a lump at the front which was very uncomfortable. So there is a manufacturing problem here. A real disappointment. They will be going back.

Great shoes for rainy season

Comfortable, good looking, quality shoes for rainy season. I really like em. If nitpicking,- the toe box could be little wider. Sizing comes slightly bigger than other adi shoes i got, but would be perfect with thicker, warmer socks. Overall very happy with this purchase. They were very comfortable right out of the box, but after couple of weeks of breaking in they are just perfect now. Would definitely recommend.
