The Adizero Adios Pro 4 is everything I was looking for in a race-day shoe. The midsole delivers incredible responsiveness without compromising on comfort — it feels fast, yet surprisingly cushioned. I’ve done a few long runs and workouts in them, and the energy return is just next level. The fit is true to size and locks in nicely without feeling restrictive. The upper is breathable and lightweight, which really helps on longer efforts. I’m currently training for my first marathon — the Sydney 2025 Marathon — and these are the shoes I’ll be racing in. I couldn’t be more excited. They feel built for the marathon – responsive, comfortable, and consistent. A great choice for anyone preparing to race at their best. Highly recommend for anyone chasing race-day performance!
For WALKING, the heal is too narrow, considering how spongy the mid sole material is, every step is unstable because it the heal rocks side to side. Kinda like seeing girls in platforms almost loosing their balance. The heal profile (left side of left shoe, right side or right shoe) can be clearly seen to sculp inwards from the wider front. I’d redesign to maintain the width profile from where the lightstrike pro text is and continue to and then sweep wider to the heal rather than cut in with reduced heal. This change would mitigate sideways instability. The width of the ball of foot is good up until the front of the first circular dimple in front of the lightning strike text, this too sculpts down to the tip which makes it not wide enough adding to file step instability. The movement from ball to the toes have a very sharp angle rapidly moving to very thin sole material, feels too close to the ground in contrast to the rest of the sole that feels significantly higher. These are the principle issues which makes this a strange shoe. It’s also 1 size smaller my than typical Adidas size.
Shoes felt awesome during the race until the bottom plastic snapped during a half marathon. The rubber on the heal was coming off and this was less than 14 miles in these "Super" Shoes.
Style with cushion. Really nice to run or simply walk
Was looking forward to purchasing PRO 4’s after owning several PRO 3s..very fast forward propelling trainers, fit however somewhat narrower than the PRO 3s albeit feel faster on track days and chasing fast times at Park Runs ..had to go another 1/2 size up but suffered on long runs using these as narrow fit caused Morton neuroma foot injury, maybe should have gone another 1/2 size up but probably would cause slippage .. Remaining on the PLUS side , they are superb fast propelling trainers so great for short distances for me for sure. I personally need to find wider fit long distance adidas trainers …any tips welcome
I am runners , I love adios pro 4, confortible , beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year I bought a pair of Adizero Pro 3 shoes for the Melbourne Marathon. They were great for the purpose. This year I bought a pair of Adizero Pro 4 shoes for the Sydney Marathon. They were even greater! They're not great for walking; in fact they almost 'force' the wearer to run, which is perfect when the legs and brain are saying 'enough!' during a long race. Fast, light, snug and marathon completed without a blister!!
I’d had my eyes on these for quite a while but was a little nervous about the cost. After wearing them though, they are completely worth it. I’ve only done around 50km in them so far as I bought them to wear at Milan and at London marathons but I am super confident they’ll be amazing on race day.
This is one of the best shoes I've tried. It's cushion is excellent and it felt so comfortable even over long miles. And this particular color gives my run a nice pop . I'll suggest getting half a size up or trying it on prior.
Light, fast and comfortable. Well made shoes. You can feel the rods working on every stride.
