Excellent lightweight product!
This is an excellent lightweight product that my friend and I recently used on a kayaking camping trip. They did the job keeping our gear dry - even with a capsize! - and were easy to load and tie down.
Dry Bag Performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took the dry bag set with us on a six day five night trip to the Boundaries waters in northern Minnesota. I had all my personal effects in one 35L orange bag and a travel CPAP and battery in another yellow smaller one. We were swamped once and also capsized in 35mph winds with two foot seas. In both cases, none of the bags leaked and nothing got wet despite the conditions. Five of the eight people on the trip were using the same or similar bags from Sea to Summit. None reported any issues with their bags either.
Packaging
Good dry bags, this review is more about rei packaging. Please send out orders in plain wrapping. Your branding is too legible, candy for thieves. I’ve had at least two orders stolen, I think because it so prominently says rei. Anyway love the company otherwise.
Yes, Yes, Yes
Must have in my opinion for any outdoor adventurer. Are multi-purpose, much stronger than they appear and can be shoved full without a worry. I also use them as packing cubes while out on the trail with my family. With four kiddos and a wife, organization is key for all the snacks, gear and STUFF. We love them so much, we purchased individual bags for our kiddos to begin having their own and their bags. I have also used them for packing cubes when traveling and not camping. With S2S, you know the quality is great.
Look nicer in person!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a really high quality product. I’ve been using them for a few weeks now and at first I was thinking they wouldn’t be sturdy enough because they’re so lightweight, but it seems they found the perfect balance of thread count for this mid weight option. I just strap them on my bike rack with no protection and they work fine. They’re also very attractive in person, so don’t let the picture’s colors scare you away.
Great Drybag Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing to not love about this set of drybags. Light weight and extremely packable. I ordered the additional sling strap which was handy for boating day trips. Have used these bags for kayaking and backpacking as well. And the different colors allow me to stay organized while digging around in my pack. 10 out of 10!
Always Top Notch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always excited to get new stuff sacks... :) Sadly, every year I puncture at least 2 or more old ones (no brand in particular), between the rocks, or other sharp gear on backcountry canoe camping trips, it's inevitable. But the STS gear tends to last longer than my current 5-6 year lifespan. Thank you.
The Best Bags!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked these so much I ordered more than once. They are the perfect size, weight and durability. I car camp and need bright storage that is waterproof and can pack items easily. They have kept everything dry and in good shape, which is huge.
Excellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these bag on multiple overnight outings and on the water. Tough and dependable while not being too heavy. Doubles well as a compression sack for sleep system.
Bags worked great on a
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bags worked great on a Smokies hike. Sizes were just what I needed, different colors made finding gear easier and waterproofing gave me one less concern.
