Great Windbreaker for Cool Weather

This has been a great addition to my outdoors wardrobe. The colors are fun, the material is super light, and it does a great job of blocking the wind. I ordered a large (5'8" 170lbs), but could have sized down and comfortably worn a medium if I didn't plan to wear sweatshirts beneath it. My only complaint is that I have to wear long sleeves under this to be comfortable. Even when the weather is just right for short sleeves and a windbreaker, this pullover gets sticky the second you get even the slightest bit sweaty. It sticks to your arms like no other piece of clothing I've ever owned. When paired with long sleeves, though, you can't beat this product!

Traps moisture

The windbreaker is comfortable, colorful and I hoped it would be perfect for walks during a recent trip to Scandinavia. It did a fair job as a windbreaker but was essentially unbreathable and resulted in trapping moisture during walks with minimal exertion. The inside of the windbreaker became wet and my clothing was drenched. If you're just sitting in one place, this is a fine cover-up, but I would not recommend it for activities of minimal exertion.

Full rest in rain during camping trip

Used this as a windbreaker and full rain cover during a car camping trip. Kept my mid layer dry and folded easily into its pocket pouch nicely for space saving. I didn't notice major wrinkling from the storage in its pouch bit it was in the pouch for about 24 hours. This coat was also great for keeping you cozy during a breezy day. Colors are bright and I got complimented on the style. I was worried to buy plus size from Cotopaxi but they definitely have good sizing for XL!

Great purchase from REI Used

I bought this off of REI Used and love it! I’m 5’2”, 115lb, and the women’s XS is perfect. The sleeves can be pushed up to elbows comfortably. The hood can stay up without drawstrings when zipped up and will keep wind out. When warmer you can unzip way down to eat the breeze in. Super super light weight. I really appreciate the kangaroo pocket which you can tuck your hands into from both ends, but secure contents from above. I bought the one where the front pocket is white and wondered if the black Velcro’s could be seen through the fabric but it can’t. Very happy with my first Cotopaxi purchase

Last minute buy was perfect

I was stopping in Boulder before going to Rocky in a couple days and I needed something to really cut the wind but was super light. Got this jacket on clearance and I loved the color and it fit in my purse perfectly! Super lightweight, put it over an under armor and a fleece layer while in Rocky in below freezing temps and was just fine.

Windbreaker

Loved it! Hiked Quilotoa in Ecuador wearing this and I loved that I could wrap it around my waist or shove it in my Cotopaxi backpack when I was warm or it wasn’t raining, but could easily slip it on when needed.

Ah-mazing!

This windbreaker is great! First, the colors of the windbreaker are so vibrant and fun. Your bound to be in good spirits and ready to take on an adventure when you wear this jacket. There is a zip pocket as well as two hand pockets- plenty of space to put your belongings. I put this windbreaker to the test when traveling to Terceira Island, located in the Azores. I wore it on our moped drives as well as to the top of some of the viewpoints where the wind was incredibly strong. The jacket held up beautifully, and kept me protected from the wind while also not feeling like I was wearing a garbage bag (no ventilation!). Would highly recommend - would buy again.

This is my second purchase cause I really love this jacket. My first I bought it in rei, I was so amazed how lightweight and how warm it was hiking in the mountain with just base layer and teca windbreaker jacket I don’t need to put more layers in, thats why i decided to buy another one. Definitely I will buy again. And the color is fun
