A bag that hits all the marks. Back-side zipper seems like a waste but overall it delivers a high quality balanced carry over rough terrain. Just the right size for 1.5 technical scramble approaches in red rocks and so far is holding up well. Slight zipper issue but it resolved itself currently. As a dedicated trad climber it carries the necessary gear/rope/supplies with just the right amount of pockets and padding. . Not overdone, not minimalistic. Sweet spot.
Fits a double rack, 70m rope, tons of water and food and has room to spare. The bag carries weight well and makes for a comfortable hike in. I do wish that the opening was in the front of the bag rather than the back but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. A few loops to attach a helmet on the outside would have been great as well. The bag travels nicely and can be used as a checked item without issue.
This bag is amazing, super comfortable, durable, and has plenty of room, my only problem with this bag is that it lacks smaller pockets for organization, as a Type 1 Diabetic, I need to keep my medical supplies with me and having smaller pockets would be very helpful with the organization of said supplies. Overall great bag.
This pack is 10-15L larger than many other picks in the same category. When I’m carrying a rack, rope, belay puffy, knee pads, food, water, etc, it’s so nice to just throw it all in and go. I don’t know why most cragging packs are so small. This is not an alpine mission— I want to be comfortable. And the panel zipper is a must! I spend a lot of days at the crag, and this pack keeps everything together.
Great pack, loads of top pocket storage for snacks, guidebook, belay glasses. The back access is awesome and definitely my favorite feature of the pack. I find it has great support and is very comfortable even when fully loaded, definitely the best crag pack I have owned!
Took it on multiple trips to the crag and it held up amazing. Kept all the gear well organized thanks to the internal gear loops and with the large top and back opening the gear was easily accessed. I would recommend this to anyone taking part in outdoor sport climbing.
I upgraded from the previous model 45. This is my primary outdoor bag and is fantastic. You don’t get a lot of external mounts on this but it’s a black hole that everything will fit into! I don’t use the rope carrier other than to test it - that seemed to work fine.
Comfortable, roomy, easy access. It was exactly what I needed to carry a rack, rope, and extra clothing for a full outing. The suspension works great for me. The only thing I wish is for an outer pocket.
The bag is very sturdy and well designed. I carry an 80m rope, a hardware bag, chalk, harness, shoes, and a first aid bag inside of this bag and it all fits perfectly with room to spare.
Love this bag! Big enough for everything you want and more. Super comfortable straps/suspension system. Good organization tools. Lots of nice features. Durable bag.
