High quality good looking 26" canti fork option
Any 26"/559 canti fork non-suspension-corrected option is really welcome, and this one shows quality throughout: creditable low weight for a crown-built fork with Surly reliability, crown has well done tangs with cut-outs inside and out, almost 60mm between inner tangs so fully capable for 2" wide tires with room for fenders, through-bolt M5 rack mounts for lowriders, double eyelets, removable white Surly decals, long 400mm steerer with 1.7mm wall thickness so stiff enough for a taller spacer stack you may need. The weight is listed as 953g and must refer to one with a cut steerer--the uncut 400mm steerer fork weighs 1111g. Cut off to about 170mm for a smaller frame, the resulting fork weighed 853g, which is very good for a full featured crown-built fork. The socket dropouts have advantages, but also restrict the angle for closing a quick release lever--which means you may have to close the lever at a non-preferred roadie angle.
