Nice & versatile drinking spout
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hydro Flask Wide Flex Chug Cap Black is well made and durable. It fits my wide mouth Hydro Flask & adds versatility to how it can be used. With this cap twisted on, you don’t have to directly drink from the stainless steel rim of the bottle. This has a smooth plastic spout that is comfortable to drink from. It also helps control the flow of your beverage as you drink it. This is good for using with cold drinks, but because it’s more of a controlled spout, it’s very handy for using it with hot drinks. Both caps twists on smoothly for a leak free fit. The top lid has a little handle on it that is durable and can be carried or hooked onto something. The material is a strong thick plastic & is easy to wash. I’d recommend it.
Works well with my wide mouth bottle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flex chug cap easily screws onto my 32 ounce wide mouth water bottle. The narrow spout is comfortable to drink from and lets me to take bigger sips without any excess liquid dripping down my chin. This cap also works really well for soups. The spout is large enough for me to drink my soup right from the bottle instead of pouring it into a separate container. I am very pleased with the performance of this cap. It fits securely, does not leak and allows me to refill my bottle quickly.
Terrible design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard and a pain to get the chug lid off. Needs a handle on the main wide mouth part to remove easily. Without it it’s not coming off unless you put a rubber working glove on. Very bad design and idea to put handle on the cap that you drink out of. So dumb. I do not like that lid at all. The knock of ones with a handle on the wide mouth part are way better!!! There is a picture of a lid that I like way better!!! Hydro flask chug lid is awful design
I want to love this cap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure if it’s just me, but I have issues getting the big part of the cap off. It’s either suctioned on there so tight I need a jar opener to loosen it, or when I go to open the smaller chug cap, the big one spins, too. It’s pretty annoying. I also wish they would have put a larger carry strap on the big part of the cap, so my bigger bottle is less cumbersome to carry. I’m not convinced this cap is as insulated as it could be, as my ice doesn’t seem to last as long as it should. The chug sip is perfect. But the rest of cap is pretty frustrating. I want to love it, but I can’t.
Great addition to my 32oz bottle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lid with my 32 oz water bottle. I got a large water bottle to keep at work, so I'll be better about drinking water more consistently. I hate the feeling of cold water on my teeth, and this lid helps funnel the water in a more manageable way into my mouth. It's a must have with the water bottle. I love how easy it is to put on, and to clean. It's super durable and stays on tight. Love it!
Neat improvement for easy drinking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Hydro Flask at baseline and the chug cap is a nifty improvement on the design. Fits any wide mouth bottle so you still have the convenience of quick fill/pour and adding ice, but if you're in a hurry to quench your thirst, the cap does a great job of managing liquid flow and preventing ice from blasting you in the face. Really simple, yet effective design!!
Flex chug cap
In my opinion handle is too narrow. Please make handle more wider for people that has big hands (fingers) like myself. But overall I like the chug style.
Love the Flex Chug
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Flex Chug cap to replace the Wide Mouth Flex Cap on my 32-oz bottle. The original Flex Cap was cross-threaded or otherwise distorted, and was difficult to remove and replace. I tried to order a replacement Wide Mouth Flex Cap but there were none in stock, so I went with the Chug. The Wide Mouth Flex Chug Cap makes drinking much easier. Its only downside is that I am now drinking through plastic instead of metal. But it makes me want to use the bottle more than when the original Flex Cap was a pain to remove and replace. I may order a replacement Wide Mouth Flex Cap if they become available, but for now, I do like the Chug Cap.
Supports greater water consumption!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I constantly struggle to make sure I’m drinking enough water, which, needless to say, causes drama in my household, given that my wife is constantly filling up her bottle! I’ve typically been one that has used a water bottle with the flip up straw, but it’s always weirded me out to think how clean that straw remains. It’s only until I decide to clean it that I realize it’s not! Well, this large mouth attachment is slightly less convenient I do find it to be dramatically more pleasing to use, knowing that it has to be cleaner than what I’ve used in the past. This attachment fits perfectly, and I would highly recommend!
The best of both worlds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can fill the bottle easily by taking off the entire cap drinking from the upper cap. Makes it easy to drink when you’re moving around doing things without spilling anything I absolutely love it.
